Tonight, I am going to have all my characters' Cryptarch & Vanguard ranks poised just shy of the next level, in the hope of getting a lucky drop of some new gear on Tuesday.
I hadn't thought of it, until some random dude mentioned it last night. Good idea, though.

I have the season pass, so I will definitely be on and up for a raid. I'll be on from around 20:30.

Normal mode is available straight away. Hard isn't.
I think I'll still be looking to do the nightfall first and then see what happens.
It is if you're level 30. HM is locked though.
I'm still not sure about the DLC, might get it later on. The exotic changes has put me off the game.

Come on man, who else is going to keep me amazed with wicked skilz?. I really don't see the big deal about the exotics. With the amount I play the game levelling back up the perks on a weapon won't take long. If the base damage is higher their isn't really a downside apart from the time you've already spent?.
If that's a shot of the first week of Xur stock, it's nice that my Suros Regime is included in the upgraded set. As is my exotic helmet that I use for raids.

It is, but I wouldn't count on that being Xur's stock this weekend. At least there are 12 exotic upgrades each week though, shouldn't have to wait too long for the opportunity to upgrade specific items.

I know, but it's not the only the exotic stuff tbh, it's the other shit Bungie do. But I'll most likely get so I can play with you guys, it's funny watching you die so many times!
Yeah, it is a bit annoying but exotics will require less xp to upgrade when the DLC is launched so it won't take that long.

What I don't understand is why the weapon resets when you go for the upgrade? It's crap.

The solar burn makes that final boss quick, but also pretty tough. The boss itself can kill you in two or three shots and has massive splash damage, and all the adds have solar damage, so you can die pretty quickly just from getting caught on the map. You did pretty well considering you were only level 27!No problem, mate.

Just had a guy drop Hawkmoon in my strike. I got double his kills and he spent most of the strike hiding behind me, despite being a 29 and me a 27.

Question, can I only download the Dark Below DLC or do I have get the season pass?
You can get just the dark below, but the expansion pass saves you £5 if you end up getting house of wolves as well.

Just picked up the first DLC gun. Murmur, a fusion rifle that can switch between solar and arc damage. Pretty cool!

I'm on the fence. Apparently the nightfall is the new strike in the DLC so if you haven't bought it you can't do the nightfall/heroic this week? I thought they'd do that.

I want to do the raid, but won't be on until around 20:30. Have you got to do the story missions before you unlock the raid? I'd imagine so.
I just read that some groups are not allowing level 30s in to their raid parties, if they've bought the gear in the tower to reach the level.Huh?

Apparently, they are "Not legit 30s" like the guys that have got their gear from VoG. There are mass arguments on the Bungie forums.
