That's what I thought, so no point investing until you have the weapon perks way you want them...

So annoyed, I've got rank 5 on iron banner but not enough glimmer to buy the stuff! How frustrating :lol:
 
With many decent games out this Christmas I think I'm going to pack this in. The resource grinding is amongst the most tedious shite I've had to do in any game, and this is coming from an MMO addict. I'll just being doing the nightfalls/weeklies.

I had the same problem. Got to level 4 with 5 bounties still to hand in, so I thought I was being clever buying the class item before handing them in. That did take me to within two match wins of rank 5, but had to do a lot of glimmer farming to get enough for both guns andthe gauntlets !

What's the best way to farm glimmer? I noticed only yellow bar enemies give you glimmer unless you have the bonus buff on. I needed over 18,000 glimmer in 1 hour so I had no chance :(. Managed to get the cape and shaders but had to miss out on the rifle.

It's pretty easy to gather glimmer. I use the consumables, you can patrol or do a strike.

I'll on around 2 for the nightfall/weekly if anyone else wants do it.

Yeah, I managed to get about 11,000 in 1 hour but it was a pain in the ass. I had to go to bed in the end so ran out of time.
 
First mission on mars on the highest difficulty with supply keys running.

Just get wasted at the last guy from the second drop ship and respawn and repeat.
 
Are we hard raiding again tonight? won't be available until about 8.30 if people could wait for me :D

Yeah, I'm up for HM raid. 8:30 works out nicely, gives me time to get the helium filaments to get my Titan to 30.

I like the first mission on the moon.
The part where ghost says 'we've woken the hive'
I needed 2k glimmer yesterday and got it in about 20 / 30 mins

Im going to take a break till the expansion comes out.
Dragon Age is rather good :)
