Seems that chest armour is the easiest to get for some reason. Got that on all my characters. My Hunter is missing legs and my Titan is missing both gauntlets and legs

Got my Titan to level 27. Gonna try and catch a fresh normal raid tomorrow.
I need chest, but for that reason I've also got an exotic chest chest incase I get the head first

Nice thinking. One thing I hate about needing leg armour for my characters is there are no exotics that can go there!I just need boots.
the best way is to get an oracle check point. We get four rewards as it rolls twice firm both sections.
Yeah so frustrating. Thinking of making a 2nd hunter and swapping over the armour just for raiding, hope I get lucky.
Yeah that's how I ended up getting my Warlock to 30 (minus the oracle checkpoint bit, we made it through the conflux bit okay thanks to the number of warlocks we've got)

Thats what i did with the warlock.
means you only have to level one lot of good armour up, and get twice the chance for the class rewards.
I should really of done three, but i really like the hunter.
Makes me realise how lucky I was to get to 30 just using 1 character...
On another note, pug'd gatekeeper with a decent group plus one annoying yank... ended up with shards -_-

Just keep doing the bit you need on hard imo. Took about 15 hm raids to get my Titan the gloves and boots, and then they ended up coming in the same run... Which is lucky.... After being incredibly unlucky.
Point is they turn up eventually, didnt need a 2nd Titan or a 3rd

Once you've done the raid once though in a week you don't get the rewards if you do a second raid do you?.
You get 1 set of rewards for normal and 1 for hard.
If you just do hard you get both sets at the same time. So to save time you'd just need to do 1 hard raid and have 2 shots at getting what you need

Yeah ok that's what I thought. I have done the hard already so that's why I want to make a second character. Getting impatient
You can do 2 a week, which obviously means plenty of them arent hard mode so I was wrong to write hm.
But I didnt keep count of how many are normal and how many are hard. People have done a lot more than 15 raids
Counting all 3 characters I can do as many as 6 a week, but that rarely happens due to time
Thinking more on it, its probably around 5 hard modes with no Atheon kill. 1 kill. And the rest normal modes
I finished the raid with my hunter. Join a group we beat the gatekeeper quickly and then 2 guys kept dying, then fireteam leader just. We found to level 30 players and ended up beating Atheon. Sadly I didn't get any raid gear but I got the Mythoclast.
I'll be up for doing the raid again with you guys, just give me a shout. I'll change over to my warlock at the end and it will give us two level 30 players.

Would be keen to get on some Raids now, hit level 28 today but figure no point using anymore shards on my legendary armour when it needs to be raid gear anyway.
Obviously I'll be a bit clueless so whenever theres a group that fancies putting up with me!

Ok I'm level 24 now and haven't done anything in the Crucible. Is there any point to doing anything in the Crucible?
Also I've ended up with a bunch of titan gear and I'm a hunter. What le hell should I do with it?

Neither have I, and I'm at level 24 as well. Got my first blue piece of Hunter gear that I'm going to put as my first vault item.

From what I've read, it sure seems that people are happy with going for warlocks. Anything in particular that's not good about titans/hunters? Do people tend to go for Sunsinger or Voidwalker?

I've geared up almost exclusively through the crucible, but the answer is no, you don't. You can probably avoid it altogether if its not your thing. You'll be missing out on some pretty swell gear from the crucible vendor but nothing that's unmissable.
Though I'd still recommend you do the crucible bounties for XP and to increase faction rep. Some of them are pretty easy like play 5 control games, win 3 crucible games, kill 25 hunters etc. These can all be done in about 5 games and take an hour tops.
Ack, see I'm pretty sure I wanna go with a Warlock alt but I've got a heap of legendary titan armour stored in the vault which would make it a breeze to quickly level one up. I love fists of havoc but don't like Titan aesthetics, Warlocks look boss too.
Sunsinger mainly. Probably the best class for raiding.

Sorry about that Devil's Lair strike where I went awol for most of it. When you first invited me to join, I was about 10 spinmetal away from fully upgrading my helm so thought I'd quickly get the spinmetal during the strike... problem is it wasn't so quick in the end.
You'll get a piece at some point over the next few days, I'm sure of it. Can be a pain the wait to get that first piece but once you get it things start to fall into place.
You're not far off Vanguard level 2. Once you are level 2 you can buy legendary armour from the Warlock Vanguard.
I find it rather annoying that I can't buy Titan/Warlock gear using my Hunter. Kinda assumed I wouldn be able to when I created the second character. Not looking forward to the chore of getting vanguard rank 2 all over again.
Also, I don't like how for all the faction shops, you can only use crucible marks. Really should be able to use both type for them. I've got most leveled up now, but no intention of playing pvp to actually get the marks to buy anything.

I'm probably going to try and find a pug for hard mode raid this afternoon. Let me know if any of you want in.
If you find one tom let us know, its saying i still havent looted anything past the oracles and templar on this character, so i could do with a run at the gayekeeper and atheon.
I still need the gatekeeper loot on my main (30 Warlock). Thing is PSN will be down for maintenance from 5 to 11 GMT

If an oracle checkpoint can be found I don't mind doing that all over again as it's pretty straightforward
Online now. That sounds good. I've not done any of HM using my hunter but its 29 so pretty pointless using it. I think what I'll do for that is next week when we get to the oracles, I'll put the checkpoint onto my other characters so we can all use them for our alts.
