I have a very rare 3 hours to play during the day today between 10am and 1pm GMT. I'm a level 28 hunter and have never done a nightfall. My PSN tag is the same as my caf tag GaryLifo if anyone is around during that time period and wants to team up?

It's the gate keeper section and Atheon really they want it for.
You can can one shot the gate keepers and take out atheon in one teleport if you all have it.
You are hitting him with something like 40 odd rockets a time if all 6 of you have them, and you can get 4 shots off each in 30 seconds.
Xur is by the crucible vendor if anyone is looking for him

No, you run the risk of getting an engram for a titan or hunter too.
I couldn't afford The Armamentarium last week so I'm happy to see that, but then there's Patience & Time - Is it worth getting even if you have Ice Breaker?

Only because icebreaker is solar where as P+T is arc really. That or if you just like collecting the items.
I think if you have loads of spare coins then why not, you can always pack it off to an ALT character.
It depends, i've got a near fully upgraded Ice Breaker but I still got Patience & Time is great because it gives you camouflage (great for pvp) and it's a different elemental damage to Ice Breaker which is good for the raid too.

The only exotics I have are the Suros Regime and the Invective shotgun. I have a couple legendary primaries whereas everything else is blue. Not had much luck with drops despite being 28.

I don't remember the name but I got from a drop when I level up my vanguard, haven't used it much tbh. I got Fatebringer and it does arc damage, so I'm pretty much sorted.

Nearly got my alt to 20 now wahoo. What's the best way to upgrade the armour once you've done all the story missions etc. Strikes I guess?
I got most of my kit from the Strikes, but with my main Warlock character and I was getting Titan & Hunter drops from Legendary engrams - I think they may have cut that out of the Cryptarch now I'm not sure. Also, buy an exotic piece of armour from Xur if you have enough Strange Coins for your alt or take the risk and use the Mote of Lights on the Exotic engram he sells, I managed to get a Hunter & Titan helmet for my alts using them.
Oh and keep on with the Bounties and get your Vanguard or chosen faction to level 2 asap. I'd recommend FWC as all of their armour has Discipline & Intellect boosts.

Nah, not yet but I want to do it with my Titan, just need to level up a bit more first.
