With the experience debate over the raid, my Atheon's Epilogue definitely did get some experience during that session. Just under a quarter of a circle.

it came up with a progression screen for me at the end, I didnt check if anything had moved as i wand really looking.
I checked my Ice Breaker after the raid and I got not experience for it.
I ended up getting Praedyth's Revenge from the raid.

I was just in the tower and I ended up crouching down and some guy kept copying me, so we were crouching up and down together. Then I sat down and he tea bagged me. So I stood up, waved at him, he then bowed at my character and left

Are you talking about the jump over the big gap with vanishing blocks part of the raid. You can do it really easy with the hunter I found. Change your jump to triple jump, then from the start head right. You basically find a spot that aims for the very end.corner of the lip on the other side. Sprint outwards, jump, then second jump around the halfway mark and third just at the end to land to safely on the otherside.
Its a decent sniper, ive got it as my void option.
Very low recoil, with my hunter its got almist instant reload.
As for the story, ill be on from 0915 onwards.

I've hit my vanguard limit for the week, is they any possible way of getting anymore? Does pvp count towards it or is that a completely separate thing?

PvP gives you crucible marks. Nothing you can do to get more vanguard marks. The reset is tomorrow though, so I wouldn't worry too much.
I have to do a strike or something to get over ten, I have no more missions available
Gotta be honest, as soon as I hit 30... my enthusiasm for this game fell by about 33%. I'm still hooked, but not as bad as I was... that DLC can't come soon enough.

As soon as I got vex mythoclast my enthusiasm for the game increased by about 33%. So I guess thats the real goal till dlc
Having said that, getting the Titan head from the same lootpoint (and the timebreaker for that matter) made it a weird situation where my first hardmode kill meant that my future kills I'll be mainly trying on alts, as there are no character specific drops I need from him anymore. Which is sort of a buzzkill

Solar primary exotic gun that only drops off Atheon hardmode.
Was amazingly overpowered in pvp in the past but they nerfed it a week ago and have said they're buffing it again for PVE only. Its going to be the best weapon going into the next dlc apparently so has made me want to fully level it
Nope, but dont need hardmode for that.
The only character specific thing you get from hardmode is the head piece from Atheon. At the same time you get 2x loot if you just do hardmode so im sure I'll still be doing templar hardmode.
There are guns but those arent character specific so doesnt matter if I'm on my 29 Titan or 29 warlock
Can you get buy Legendary Vanguard gear from the Vanguards in the Tower for other classes? For instance, I levelled up my Alt Titan last night to 20 (then jumped immediately to 25 thanks to the Exotic Armour & Legendary Helmet I already had ) but I still need Legendary Gloves & Boots. Now I have a shit load of Vanguard marks on my main Warlock, could I spend these with the Titan Vanguard even though I'm a Warlock?

Time for bit of a slog, need something like 48 helium filaments to fully upgrade my Atheon's Epilogue and upgrade part of my Exotic helmet.
If you can buy the gear from the other vendors then I'm surely you'll be able to equip on your alt... haven't looked at the other vendors though.
Farming a good route will net you those in less than an hour... @PlayerOne has a Helium route.
The only time consuming (to obtain) material is shards and energy...
Yeah, it's very easy, I can run it now if you want. Can't stay for too long, I need to level up.
