Gaming Destiny | Rise of Iron launch

Don't see the need to change the selection of people to teleport.
Yeah, the atheon bug was always going to be patched, but that change is just stupid. Why bother making specialized classes if you're then going to force it so that everyone has to be able to do every job? I really like that the raid requires coordination and teamwork, but in any other team activity, you have defined roles, so why not here?

feck Bungie, why pick three random people? From Reddit:

During an interview with Luke Smith, lead designer on Destiny's Vault of Glass raid, he states that they dislike the idea that people choose to be teleported as the team being sent away during the Atheon fight.

"So to talk loosely about the final encounter for the raid, in the encounter, our goal was to have an encounter where each player in your raid needed to be able to do each job from the entire raid. So, to allow players to have some freedom over choosing or selecting who's going to do what job, while that's strategically interesting, and it's led to a bunch of really cool strategies, it actually doesn't align with the goal for the encounter. *So that is an example of a case where we would make a change.*"

Isn't the raid about teamwork and strategies? It's funny how they fix that but leave the other glitches in the VoG, you know the ones that really need fixing.

They are randomising it so that if another exploit is found, you won't be reliable able to make sure that you have that person/class available that is able to make the most of it.

The current atheron bug can be exploited by one sun singer with void fang vestments before anybody is teleported.

It's a rarish item that can only be worn by one third(guess) of the player base.

It seems there goal is to make the raid as utterly pointless as possible by making it an insanely difficult grind for no reward or enjoyment .

Finally have 13 strange coins so can make my first purchase from xur!

The armamentarium exotic armor looks class! Just got the Unfriendly Giant rocket launcher and Grim citizen III assault rifle.

I was just struggling on a no respawn area on a Mars mission and finally getting through it, only for my bloody internet to give out. Brilliant.

This reminds me of a discussion I read where they were saying that Bungie are too busy trying to get you to play the game the way they want you to (instead of the way people seem to want to), they could end up turning people off the game...

They should look at some of the feedback they are getting, because they are fixing things (with a hammer) that don't necessarily need to be fixed (or could just be tweaked) while leaving some would say more pressing issues untouched...

I am back on, I guess you guys have rinsed the story missions lol

Yea I try to do it early.... could help you out on it after tho
