Gaming Destiny | Rise of Iron launch

So from last week's raid crew, who is interested in doing it tonight? If anyone is not available, others can join in, though think there's enough people for two raid teams now.

afro - confirmed
me - confirmed

@PlayerOne
@Tekkers
@Adam-Utd
@Ducklegs

No problem.

As long as we stick to a set kick off and a set end time if we get stuck.
I can do 2030 till 1030 during the week on most days.

So who is getting the dlc? I probably will because it's got a new raid on it. ;)

Just realised I haven't done it on my main character.. I joined at the right time :lol:

Ok cool, need 1 more now...

Edit: Ok we'll start and see how it goes... anyone wants in on the nightfall just jump in

"I just solo'd it and mainly used Ice Breaker and a void Machine Gun.

For the waves, I sat back in that long hallway off to the left if you're looking at where the waves spawn. Nobody will follow you there. Take pot shots at the enemies with your sniper, but some of those Captains will require you to go out a little bit and unload with a void Machine Gun. Just be patient.

For the Devil Walker, immediately head to the left upon entering the area and jump onto that building with the three barriers sticking up between you and the Walker. Nobody will even shoot at your here whatsoever. Shoot slowly at a leg of the walker, so your ammo can regenerate at the same pace as you shoot. It takes four or five shots for the Walker to fall and his crit to open. Get those shots in as fast as you can. You'll probably get 4 or 5. Move on to the next leg. Rinse and repeat.

Then like everyone else said, go to the left room upon entering Sepik's lair. Nobody came up the stairs when I stayed in there. The important thing is to be patient and don't get overaggressive. Shoot down the skanks simply because they're annoying. Keep an eye on the grenades that will be lobbed in, but they don't have much of a blast radius so they're not much of a problem. When you get to a point where the adds are small in number, go unload a clip of your void heavy into Sepik's Prime. Then get back in the room and put as many shots as you can with an Ice Breaker. He actually dies relatively quickly compared to some of the times I've had to face him. Just be patient."

@Damien we going at 8:30? Can everyone go to the tower first, I'll only join when you're in orbit.

Yes. I'll be in orbit now so any of the raid team can join when ready. We doing normal again first then hard?

Please let me know if there's a space. Won't get many more opportunities to do the normal difficulty raid. Cheers

That strike was so much harder than I expected :lol:

Just switching weapons to my main character then i'll be joining for the raid

Don't go the tower or I'll get booted again. I thought we were doing it on hard?

Will do. Adam said he won't be on until around 9.15-9.30 so there probably will be.

:lol: My 26er kept getting OHKO'd. Not too far from 27 though so hopefully won't be as much of an issue in future. No idea how I'll cope with nightfall.

I'm not. I thought we were at first too but the other day someone said it's best to do normal first then hard to get two lots of rewards. I'm easy either way

Definitely will need some decent void weapons for nightfall
