Gaming Destiny | Rise of Iron launch

Cheers for that mate. All I can guess is that the first time I did the labyrinth we found a different route to that first chest.

fecks sake. My missus as usual gets all the fecking luck when it comes to games. Hit 20 like 2 days ago and gets a Patience and Time in the crucible.

I still have yet to receive any raid armour if that makes you guys feel better...

I actually have no use for the hawkmoon as I already have a fully upgraded exotic handgun.. what would i get if i dismantled it?

I'm in but they isn't many on. Can't get online in Destiny though which is annoying me.

Started the Daily Level 28 solo. Public Event immediately was a simple one and got Energy, then the daily gave me 2 Energy. That's 28 now. Hopefully blow 18 of them levelling this Shadow Price but it seems to be taking ages.

I need shards mannnn, should be a 29 by now.

Eh, just checked and I've got a Legendary Heavy Engram. Don't remember picking that up in the daily. Let's see what I get...

Oooh, a Exotic Rocket Launcher called Truth.

'Rounds fired from this weapon seek their targets aggressively'

'Rockets fired from this weapon will detonate early based upon their proximity to targets'

It's stats look pretty sick. Anyone got it?

It's better than a legendary launcher that's for sure.

The proximity detonation is quite cool, it means captains and minators can't teleport away from them as they blow up before the AI dodges.

PSN is down? Sucks, I haven't played all day. Why not do this overnight?

I've got patience and time sniper, it's epic. Takes a while to upgrade though

Well that sucks, didn't even get the chance to do the daily today!

So appart from Player and Mitch, who can get into Destiny right now? Been trying intermittently since 6 with no fcuking luck...

I've just managed to log on and play ok

Yeah, its nice. Added bonus is its void damage which makes it more useful for VOG, but its pretty much a sure fire kill in pvp if you lock on to the target

Not convinced I'll use rockets in my day to day play just yet. It does clear out big groups and guarantees PVP kills but The Swarm with big clip and big damage just seems like it's not going to shift itself from my heavy spot just yet.

Picking up 1 rocket at a time in PVE as opposed to 84 machine gun ammo I usually pick up doesn't make sense. I feel like you get better value out of 84 heavy bullets than 1 rocket!

Same but managed to log on straight on to the daily to get my shards fix - thanks for the help made it easier.

I died on the ridge as I was sniping and couldn't get my bro to jump high enough to come and revive me....

Depends, there are times you need to jump and rocket the floor and take out 15 enemies. Helps with mid fanatics at the fanatic rush for example

You can also lock on and kill something miles away when not one of those 84 shots will connect...

It's a good option to have, I won't lie I'm envious... regulars to this thread will know I've been asking for a legendary/exotic lock-on launcher... have around 5 MG's

Poop, mainly beause of the maintainence wasnt able to finish the raid on my hunter. Got 10 shards and a chest for it though, not bad

I started playing this yesterday. Whenever I join in with other players, they're all roided up and just blast the Fallen with rocket launchers while I stand around with my dick in my hand letting off the odd bullet.

Typical that it lands at my feet.

I've got Truth & Unfriendly Giant that I'm at least going to give a chance for Rocket Launchers then the exotic Machine Gun I've not even equipped yet and The Swarm. I'll persevere! Heavily stocked in the heavy department though. Diddly Squat in terms of Specials though.

Will wait and see how the reduction in AR vs Shotgun in PVP levels out. Still not used a Shotgun yet but it can be silly in PVP if you get someone that really knows what they are doing!

I started playing this yesterday. Whenever I join in with other players, they're all roided up and just blast the Fallen with rocket launchers while I stand around with my dick in my hand letting off the odd bullet.

 I joined a game for a friend last weekend and he was Level 8 and I was 28. We did a couple of Level 8-12 missions and I finished with 180ish kills per mission and he finished on 11-20. He said it wasn't as fun as he was hoping and we haven't played since ha. He is level 17 now I notice though and has started getting Blue Drops so hoping to pick it up with him again soon.

So they've stopped you going up on the platforms in the templar section. I think overall that's a good decision, but damn it's going to make it that little bit harder.

Good to see they are acting on the game though - people with the Vex Mythoclast must be annoyed!
