So I reached Vanguard 3 and the Postmaster gave me 'Unfriendly Giant' rocket launcher and shards. What did others get from him for it?
I don't actually use a rocket launcher but they have their uses so will level this one up if people think it's any good.
Edit: Just bought Shadow Price and got those 20 Energys to get it to 300. Watch me get an exotic or legendary AR now!

I was like you in the morning, you have to farm! Just do the strikes and hope something drops.
I got the Unfriendly Giant 3 times! It's pretty cool though, I use it all the time, super handy in boss fights.
Managed to get all the pvp out of the way for my bad juju bounty. Possibly my less than impressive internet, possibly that I was playing iron banner, so others have better gear, but my God is it a pile of turd.

I've played the crucible 3 times overall. Hate PvP shooters it's never balanced. Just glad there's enough to do in the single player campaign

To be fair, when I play the team deathmatch mode (can't remember what it's called) back when the game first came out, I quite enjoyed it. I think Control as a game mode really doesn't suit this game though, as there is no possible way to be clever or tactical, you just have to constantly be on the move and hope you win the reflex/connection lag contest when you find opponents.

Its supposed to be easiest to solo the nightfall, especially with the cheese spot and icebreaker. Infinite snipers on him
Need 230 vanguard rep and 53 marks to finally make vanguard lvl 3. Sort of gave up doing the bounties as I didn't realise that you needed to be lvl 3 to buy the legendary weapons. My mission is to get a legendary auto rifle. Will need to wait till the refresh on Tuesday so I can access more bounties
pre-Ice Breaker I got to the Priest with ease. It was just getting in the cheese spot where I fecked up and died. To say I was gutted is an understatement.
Bought the exotic sniper - brilliant and regenerates ammo. Add that to my exotic shotgun. Just need legendary or exotic AR and Rocket Launcher.

Anyone want to do some tiger strikes? Got my alt up to 22 so, although I might die a bit, I shouldn't be completely out of my depth.

Patrol missions and tiger strikes will get you there early if you don't mind the grind.
Just giving the Legendary AR I got a run out now, so far so good.
Did the same thing. First time I didnt realise he's freed without you doing anything, when I did the strike I always ran up to his pod. I was sat there switching guns around like a lemon

Yeah wrote the last bit wrong. The bounties refresh daily but the vanguard marks are every Tuesday. I'm all maxed out for the marks. I done 12 tiger strikes earlier

Shadow price. In it's basic form I notice no difference at all to the gun I was using. Will see how things pan out when it's fully upgraded tomorrow!
I bought a shadow price this evening, the slowed down fire rate when ADS on my Suros has been getting on my nerves.
It's forcing me to hip fire to get the best DPS and its pissing me off.

then when I realised, I panicked and tried to go in platform but died. I only got my Infinity like half an hour after we completed the nightfall. I was still about 60 off so kept making a new nightfall and trying to get there.Now there's just that stupid shotgun bounty to take care of. 25 K/D
Finally got to rank 2 on my vanguard, can finally start buying legendary armors. Got one of the exotic weapon bounties, but that seems like it'll take forever. I need to do 25 strike missions for one of the things.
Are we going to have a punt on doing the road on hard at some point this weekend to see how we fare?
It's much easier than it sounds as it's K/D spread rather than ratio ie. Just get 25 more kills than deaths over several games. I'm hardly god's gift to the crucible but I managed it in 3 games of rumble with a trusty shotgun.
I'm down, but can we go early?

I am terrible in PvP and did it in 2 and a bit games.
If you join up with 2 others on mikes and stick together you could probably do it in two.
Its easiest to do it on rumble I think it is the 3vs3 one, just find a decent camping spot and you can do it pretty quickly.

This is odd, I can't play the game because it says my PSN+ has ran out, but it hasn't. Anyone having the same issues?

Is PSN down? I cannot seem to do any PvP as it's locked for me, for some reason. Pretty sure I've paid for my PS+.
