This is going to be tough. As soon as the message comes up on the screen about opening the cage the priest is in, I'll run under the platform and do my best not to die. Pretty much everything kills you with one shot on this
 
It spawns me right next to them in the fcuking open.. bang bang your dead :rolleyes:
 
I just hid up by the part where you jump down into the final part. Came down to throw grenades and use my super then jumped back up.

I agree with your earlier comments by the way - it's a right slog taking on bosses with so much health - gets a bit boring.

Haha, that was just the first section - we hadn't even made it to a boss yet!

After you left I did the same strike again (the one with the 3 psion flayers at the end) but at level 24. I had another level 22 and a level 23 with me. My God it took so long to kill the end bosses. I'd say 5 minutes solid shooting on each one but they are quite fast and take cover a lot - on top of that their shield charge quite quickly. Obviously you've got the waves of adds spawning as well which slowed us down even more.

So we get to the last one, I wasn't keeping an eye on the time but I think we were up to about 30 minutes on that fight alone by that point. Got him down to about 2% health and then my 2 team mates decide they want to kill him with melee, run in and both get one shotted.

I rather stupidly panicked and ran in to res them, got one shotted as well (should have waited for them to respawn). Up until that point we'd only had 1 death! Absolutely raging I was!

Anyway we somehow mustered up the will to try it again and managed it that second time - thank feck! I wouldn't have been able to sleep otherwise.

One thing I want to ask of anyone who might be able to help (@Damien?) I thought it was meant to be a guaranteed legendary for doing the level 24 strike but I didn't get one. Have I just got the facts wrong?
 
@Coxy @Saskjoe I'll be on at about 8.30, trying to do the daily heroic story before we do the strike at 9 if you want to join me.

It said fireteam disbanded or something, thats pissed me right off... I was in cover waiting for you two to leave and rejoin.
 
How hard was it to get to that spot though? fcuking hell!
 
I need about 18 shards to upgrade my armour. So frustrating that they're hard to come by
 
It is they need a few mins to finish the mission they are on then we are ready to go.

Yeah, not sure exactly what spaces there'll be though. Most of the ones who played last night are on tonight, though I suppose you, Browniee and tom could see if more want to do the raid and form a second group? Ekeke and Randall might be interested too
