Lots to do in Destiny this week. Third week of curse so can finally get the well of radiance, Festival of the Lost, Iron Banner, Shattered Throne (don't think I have any chance on it solo as my power level isn't high enough), Shotgun and other IKELOS weapons in Escalation Protocol.
Will be grinding the well a bit first I think so can get that third seed of light.
Plus Malfeasance quest is more likely to drop this week, there's double valor in crucible - triple at weekend - and the new pve activity for FotL, lots to grind for.

I thought about it but it's not fair on you lot.Think for Malfeasance it is best to wait until 30th when the odds are boosted further. I have just turned Mythic on Gambit and want to push for Legend and that reset but FotL and that 600 primary is one of my main objectives
I'm Mythic II at the moment but haven't played a whole lot of Gambit lately, there's too many little things about the mode that I'm not overly fond of so I've spent more time in crucible and doing other things, will probably do at least a little bit this week though just to see if the meatball boss spawns.
@paulscholes18 be back on tomorrow for some festival grind.
The FOTL is sticking around for about 3 weeks I believe? so as tempting as it is I think i'm going to make use of that double/triple valor and grind out for the redrix and lunas if possible.
I want to do the shattered throne too, so if you guys are ready 570+? then we can get a group going.
Yeah it is but need the 600 kinetic weapon to get my power up enough. Already a third of the way there so will grind that tonight. I'm not 570+ but 560.8 and the kinetic will take my power up to 566. Will love to do the Shattered Throne at some point - that is where the Wish Ender quest starts, right?
The annoying thing is my last four Prime Engrams have all decrypted to be Power Weapons. 567, 566, 565, 565, 564... when what I need is a chest (currently 555), bond (556) and helm (558). Got to say the Forest is amazing for getting Prime Engram drops. In a couple/three hours I got three.
Yeah it's the wish ender quest. You don't need to complete the full dungeon just the first boss to start the quest, but i'd like to do the full thing ideally.
The enemies are 580 so it'll be tricky being much below that. If you get all your powerful gear this week + prime engrams hopefully you'll be ready by the weekend.
Should be. I'm already up to 563.7 - had another couple of PE drops in the Forest and up to 75/120 souls so should be able to get the 600 rifle tonight. With Iron Banner having achievable Powerful drops I should get to 575+ by the weekend unless I'm very unlucky with where they decrypt (got a higher helm and bond since my last post but still can't get that damn chest!).
Can't seem to get past the sixth branch in the Forest. All the teams I match up with end up searching for chests part way through, try to fight the Invicible enemy, revive themselves or all three which wastes a shitload of time.
Gutted. The servitor showed up in Gambit but my team were too slow in killing it. Even if I get the quest I've no idea how I'm going to do the step where you kill opposing team as invader or an ally kills them all three times. I've played loads of matches and only seen the opposing team get wiped once - today.
On the plus side I got the auto rifle from FotL. My overall power now up to 574. Did a weekly milestone just after but the drop ended up being a kinetic which is useless to me now.

That sucks though, I missed it the first time also it's an awful feeling. Just keep grinding and i'm sure you'll get it again soon.

Think I'm going to try and grind the feck out of Iron Banner this weekend, haven't been doing much pvp this week with everything else to do but I need to make the most of the triple valor weekend and get a couple of resets in if I can. Wouldn't mind a shot at Shattered Throne though if there's anyone that wants to give it a go.
I hate PvP but been killing IB with the Horror Story (might be more to do with my power level being higher). Got four bounties left to do with two of them being playing 15 games (on 8) and winning 7 (on 5). Precision final blows is doable - on 31/50. The orbs one is boring as hell - 18/50. Might skip that one and work on trying to beat the meatball in Gambit instead.

Just need a 600 helmet and that's my Warlock max light. I've got a 5 valor streak going at the moment and with the 3x weekend I'm getting around 100 valor or more a match, hopefully I can get a few more wins before it gets reset because that would save me a load of time.
Are we going to try an get a raid run in tomorrow or even later?

I reckon we'll smash that raid, tbh. I'm at 598 now. Pretty sure I was around 550-ish when we last attempted it. Even then, it was not knowing the mechanics that was the issue, rather then low power.

I'm fine raiding if you don't mind my mute ways. Watched the video Brocky posted and only two bits are a potential problem for me - Gauntlet (knowing which arrows to hit) and Calus himself. Not major problems as on Calus I can just stay on his side with two others rather than be in the purple realmy thing where people have to call out the symbols.

Meanwhile I spent most of the day getting my IB bounties done on my hunter and I'm just over 3 resets :/
Let's group up tonight and find a good team, honestly it's so much easier just playing with people more on our level.
We were mercying probably 7/10 games and it just makes it so much faster. Losing 1 winning 1 just gets you nowhere in a hurry, x3 valor is still today right? I think it restarts tomorrow.
Got footy tonight so won't be on much, might get a few games in later. I'm not too bothered, made some progress on it at least.
