The problem is henderson is not gone and for our player to speak as he does out on loan shows how far we have fallen, his arrogance astounds me for an average keeper. Our business model is failing the fans. Until these problems are resolved we are going nowhere. I think we have to put a free £5million cheque around some of players necks to get them to leave. Phil Jones, dreary me we will end up offering him Director of football when his contract eventually runs out in 2 years. The only light is hopefully ETH has some magic dust in his pocket and his football brain helps us to close to gap.Henderson is a cnut, always has been. So glad him, Lingard and Pogba are gone
Not too many spoilt brats left, hope they also leave if they disappoint again this season. Looking at Maguire, Rashford etc.
Gobby English man. Nothing new there. Stick a pie in it, Deano.
If he was good enough he would have been chosen over DeGea. If he performed better in training he would have been chosen over DeGea.Gone up in my estimation. Good on him for calling out broken promises tbh.
Guessing you are one of the resident people here that love anything english
He's obviously gone a bit overboard with his comments, but I'd say many (most?) on here are also going overboard about how bad the comments are.At least majority people on this forum are calling him out for his ridiculous comments. On reddit red devils forum, people seem to be getting downvoted for not agreeing with Henderson.
He is not the first one to have complaints about the club though. In the past years, from Blind to Herrera to Martial, all have something to moan about the club. But they did not go bad mouth the club while contracted here. It shows very poorly on the person to bad mouth the club that is still paying one of the biggest salary for a backup keeper. He's obviously gone a bit overboard with his comments, but I'd say many (most?) on here are also going overboard about how bad the comments are.
If I were in his position I'd be extremely frustrated and pissed off as well. A footballers career is a relatively short thing, and he's wasted the majority of the last few years here without being given a chance. The one time he did get a chance he proceeded to perform better than his competitor has for the majority of the last four years. Not amazing or anything, but it's not like De Gea was setting a high standard. Not only that but he's been told one thing and then it hasn't happened. If De Gea had played well all season then it might be understandable, but in reality he fell away badly again in the second half of the season.
Now, the one exception is if the club themselves think the rumours of him being a leak are true. If they do then I'm completely in agreement with him being frozen out. feck him off as fast as possible. But if that's not the case then he has been treated very poorly, and my hope is that he will perform well enough this season that (unless De Gea does the unlikely and becomes a more all-round keeper) he will be bought back to be our #1. I have definite doubts if he's good enough long-term, but I do think he us good enough to tide us over for a couple of years while we focus on other positions.
Yeah but is there a way back after those quotes? He's obviously gone a bit overboard with his comments, but I'd say many (most?) on here are also going overboard about how bad the comments are.

One thing I will say about Henderson is that he has always given the impression that he just wants to play. He's one of the few players in the squad that I do think would be willing to take a pay cut to become first choice somewhere else (even if only because he backs himself to prove good enough he'd then get a pay increase again). I could be wrong, but he's always seemed desperate for game-time. Preferably with us, but if it's not going to happen he wants to go elsewhere. He is not the first one to have complaints about the club though. Like I said, I don't think the quotes are as bad as what is being made out. It is enough that it will hurt his chances (especially as ETH does seem to be quite strict), but I don't think it's enough to put a line through his name if he does comfortably outperform De Gea this season (which I think he's got a better than 50% chance of doing).Yeah but is there a way back after those quotes?
Him calling United them already while on loan and being most excited to play vs Them is kind of bad.Like I said, I don't think the quotes are as bad as what is being made out. If that were the case, then he would have already found a club that will buy him for money and put in a transfer request. United may or may not let him leave, but it would look like he has tried all his options. He's one of the few players in the squad that I do think would be willing to take a pay cut to become first choice somewhere else

Being most excited to play against us is the thing that is being most overplayed IMO. People seem to be seeing it as him being vindictive and aggressive against the club, whereas I take it as him wanting to prove his abilities the best way of all. The reality is that nobody except him knows for sure which way he meant it, so I'm not going to hold it against him.Him calling United them already while on loan and being most excited to play vs Them is kind of bad.
I agree with those on Reddit, then. Fans complain about players that sit on the bench, never play, and won't leave, while also complaining about a guy that wants to play football. I respect any player that wants to play. Don't lie to players and say they'll be your #1. If you're not going to play them, let them leave. All Henderson seems to have wanted is to play. He is deluded on how good he thinks he is, but I think most players are. They're just not telling people that publicly. At least majority people on this forum are calling him out for his ridiculous comments. Absolutely. He doesn’t have ability to support his claims, sadly. When he left 3/4 of the net open for Salah to score on , that's all I needed to see.
If, he ( henderson) is so good in his own world why has Forest or other clubs not ran to Old trafford with transfer money ?.Whilst Man Utd were on pre season where were all the bids for this guy who refused to speak to our new manager. There is one thing valuing your car (talent) high but that only works if others view it desirable too and pay up and not head to Hertz for a rental.
And then sunk faster than the fecking Titanic. And yet still didn't stop our Austrian fraud of a manager to persist with him because of "squad harmony"What a prick! De gea player of the season for us...he rose to your arrival, whereas you cried. feck off out of United
Shouldn’t be allowed back into Carrington. ‘them’, the people that overpaid you. Should have fecked this idiot off to Chelsea when Lampard was in charge."Facing Manchester United would excite me the most, but I can't play against them - that's me being honest, I'd love to go toe-to-toe with them."

What the hell is wrong with the dude. The club's biggest crime was thinking he was better than he actually was. The actual wrong was from a manager we have since sacked. Sympathise on that but hating the club is bonkers. You have players who don't celebrate against their former clubs and here this guy is casually having a celebratory wank to the thought of simply playing against us."Facing Manchester United would excite me the most, but I can't play against them - that's me being honest, I'd love to go toe-to-toe with them."

Players who bitch after leaving have very little credibility with me as its like bad mouthing the ex after the divorce. He is not the first one to have complaints about the club though. One of the few that seems to have a bit of fight in him and see the rot at the club. Don't mind a bit of insane self belief in a keeper, and is one that has something to prove, not one that is a mental midget. Would be far better than DDG for us this season. If only he could be recalled.
He is far worse than De Gea as a goalkeeper and poision to have around
