So many on here delighted every goal he concedes, as if he's City or Liverpool's keeper.
It's bizarre. I'd have no problem with that sentiment if we had already sold him. But he's still our player - the better he plays, the more likely we are to get a good fee for him.

It's very clear at this point people feel personally slighted that this guy wanted to leave to progress his career and was upset about being lied to by Ole. That's fine and all but if you think that way you're a child, if you desperately want him to fail while he's still contracted to United you're stupid on top of that.

There's people in this thread that will save that goal as an example of how shit he is and post it next summer to "prove" they were right all along even if Henderson becomes statistically the best goalkeeper in England, and ignore all the saves (two penalty saves in two games is fantastic, really). That said it was a poor goal to concede - but it happens.

At least we can get some money and buy the real world class goalkeeper of the profile we need. The question is who is that and how much he would cost? Anyone with a shortlist?

Just as its stupid of him to speak bad about the club who's still his employer.

I certainly don't and after having witnessed him play i'm not sure I feel as if he should be United's number 1. Also, I have to be honest, he's always seemed a bit obnoxious, although that could just be a goalkeeper thing :D

People seem to be in one corner or the other regarding De Gea and Henderson but personally i'd like to see the club find a new keeper entirely. I think De Gea has had some magnificent seasons for United but i'm not sure he's elite level anymore, especially with the emphasis now on building from the back.

Considering the post was made by the Sky Sports Premier League account, it seems a bit misleading and daft to be saying 200 league goals when 14 of them were in the lower leagues.
If it was 200 in the Premier League they'd have said 200 Premier League goals. Because it wasn't, they just said league.

It's not that stupid considering his contract is guaranteed. Apparently the people in charge now aren't dumb enough to tank his career out of spite to their own detriment as well, unlike a lot of the posters here.

It's very easy to preach loyalty to the badge as a fan when it's not your career and livelihood on the line. Players aren't obliged to just take being lied to and having their careers derailed. It's actually bad for the club to do it anyways, it's probably part of the reason Sommer and Trapp refused a transfer here as well.

The 2nd goal was so bad. Not that DDG would save it but Dean left himself no chance to stop it.
No fecking way he should be our no1 gk. Yamn Sommer in the summer please.

His situation doesn't have anything with Simmer and Trapp ones.
It sounds too dramatic. Ole stupidly promised him number one spot but he had covid and it all changed. What's silly from Henderson is, together with bad mouthing the club, he didn't even want ETH to see him in training so he doesn't put him as number 2.. As for guaranteed contract ok but he still needs to come back after saying what he said.

He didnt want to take his chances under a brand new regime because Ole lied to him?

Such nonsense.

He's an arrogant salty twat that is actively badmouthing us. He can go get f*****.

He didn't want to risk being stuck behind De Gea after broken promises from the season before that cost him his place in the England squad, in the context of a world cup coming in 3 months.

Why should he risk possibly damaging his career further and harm his chances of going to a world cup, a chance that dosent come along all to often and may never again?

He can feck off in peace (without badmouthing the club), like Donny did last year.

He's still under contract. Him telling the world he has a bad relationship with the club could harm our bargaining power.

It's considered not done and bad manners. You're supposed to shut up till you permanently fecked off.

But all this is possible without badmouthing Manchester United. He got his loan - now perform, earn a place in the squad for the World Cup

Knowing United, they'll bring him back on improved terms.

What has he said that would count as actively badmouthing the club?

He said the club he would love to beat the most is United.
If he has indeed said that, he really is stupid. Statement like this about the club that he is contracted to, shows his dislike towards United and the ultimate desire to beat us. Hopefully, Dean performs well and we sell him for decent money. Get flipping rid.

Woeful kick out, tiny in goals again. Anybody thinking we made a mistake getting rid of this lite pickford is deluded

cnuts obviously saving his best performance for when he plays us in .... oops!

De Gea definitely saves the first 2 goals yesterday. You can stay there Deano

I don't care how good Henderson thinks he is (he isn't THAT good) when you are on loan from your club and you say things like this about your team mates, you need to be sold as soon as possible https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/david-de-gea-dean-henderson-27993887

Toxic attitude voids everything else. He is a grown up, he should know the basics of a proper behavior in a team environment.

I would prefer to never see Dean Henderson in the United shirt, ever again.
