Deadline Day! | Confirmed Signings in OP

So what's happening with Moutinho? Spurs not getting anyone in for that?

If Liverpool don't sign a striker or winger, they're crazy. Who do they have for the forward positions?

Suarez
Borini
Cole?
Downing?
and a couple of kids

Rogers likes to play 3 forward doesn't he? He'll have to play 3 out of those 4.

Sterling might have to be played a lot, and then just hope Suarez improves his shooting and Borini turns out well. I don't know if Sahin scores much.

This is shaping up to be the worst conclusion to a transfer window I can remember.

Be thankful that atleast you're not paying 35m for an average striker. Bit retarded by Rodgers not to buy a striker after letting Carroll go, though.

I ain't even mad. Just has a sad.

Seriously who will be first choice alongside Suarez and Borini? Rogers has already declared Downing will be leftback. Cole isn't really a Premier league level player any more. All you have is the 17 year old Sterling and that new bloke you've bought for a couple of million.

Has Ross Barkley been loaned out?

I think Wednesday were interested, but not hearing any confirmation. I'd like him to leave so he can get a 30+ game season but we are a bit thin their so would probably only happen if we get someone.

Yeah, one of them. Maybe Gerrard pushed forward. Then we can give a game to Henderson in midfield, now that we aren't trying to offload him to Fulham anymore.

What we should be doing is abandoning 4-3-3 since we obviously don't have the players for it now. But I think Rodgers will put the system first.

That's the thing isn't it? You were trying to get shot of Henderson, now he might be vital to you.

£6m Spurs paid for Dempsey; that's what 6 Dempseys in a Carroll?

You're doomed Dempsey has joined Spurs.

It's not even Dempsey. Where are the contingencies we should have lined up? We banked everything on Clint and Sturridge on loan and we have nothing up our sleeve when they fall through?

It's not like it's totally surprising that they have fallen through. Sturridge could only happen if Chelsea signed another striker and Al Fayed hates our guts.

FSG should have stuck with their original plan and gotten in an experienced director of football to handle all this. Rodgers and Ayre clearly haven't prepped properly.

pretty sure Cudicini left Spurs in the summer right?

Gomes will leave in January now for sure.

Friedel v Lloris to be there first choice I expect.

Dempsey to Spurs is a good move for player and club, and even sweeter as it screws the dippers.

It should be a joyous game on Sunday. Two sets of unhappy fans. If Liverpool win it will all be forgotten for now. If Arsenal win.
