It's an okay signing for Spurs IMO. I think they need someone who is a bit of a better finisher.

Hard to see Liverpool catching Spurs now, never mind making top 4. They needed a striker.

Ronaldo had the side built around him at United, he hasn't fared to shabby at Real. ;)

He'll have more talented mates so I think he'll be a better player with Spurs, maybe not score the same amount of goals though.
 
Do you know what makes no sense? Having the transfer window on a Friday, have it close whilst a fairly important match could be ongoing, have it 12 hours before a full schedule of League fixtures.

Have it end on the effin monday! Every year. The Monday. It would be easy! The Monday!

Do you know what happens when the first day of the season falls on the 3rd of the month? Nothing. Football does not follow the fecking Julian Calendar, it follows the weekly calendar. Nothing else in football cares what day of the month it is, if its a weekend it has football on it.

Oh my days that was one of the most cringeworthy segments of TV I've ever seen.

If Liverpool don't sign a striker or winger, they're crazy. Who do they have for the forward positions?

Cole?
Downing?
and a couple of kids

Rogers likes to play 3 forward doesn't he? He'll have to play 3 out of those 4.
