Only if Real offer Ronaldo in exchange...
Aguero is an Argie. Why did he move to England in the first place if being Spanish means he has to go back there? Aguero, Silva and Mata have all moved to Premier League from Spain and none of them have asked to move back.
I'm aware of that but it's also a common assumption that most South American players want to play in Spain and prefer Real Madrid/Barcelona over English based clubs. While that probably holds some truth in relation to a lot of them, it's not a given at all.Aguero is an Argie.
South America has always produced so many talents, that they had enough numbers in all big European leagues. Sure Spain (and Portugal for Brazilians) is the most attractive first destination because of the language, but once they get settled in a different country and learn the language there is not that much pull for them to move to Spain. For Spanish players things are obviously different - it's their home country with all their friends and relatives there...I'm aware of that but it's also a common assumption that most South American players want to play in Spain and prefer Real Madrid/Barcelona over English based clubs. The following article explains it well:

It's not quite Celtic vs. Rangers (which could be classified as total madness IMHO), but it's close when you consider the elements surrounding the rivalry.
When you mentioned Tevez, you forget that he is a foreigner who didn't want to know anything about how big local rivalries are. With DDG, it's different because he's a Spaniard who lived and breathed that particular rivalry.
No! Not even then!Only if Real offer Ronaldo in exchange...
Even IF he did leave for Madrid which I don't think he will, shrewd Ed would demand either a crazy amount for him to justify the transaction or he would ask for Bale.
Express thinks Madrid are going to ''smash'' the world record (£33 million for Buffon). There's no source or anything. The more the news papers write shite its hard not to get slightly worried, however Casillas seems to be in great form, he even saved his last two penalties.
IF it was 100% going to happen (big if) I'd only except either Bale, Ronaldo or €100 million.
As a straight swap, I honestly wouldn't be happy with Bale for De Gea. Maybe in a year's time, but not right now. Our defence is the absolute last thing we can afford to have weakened at this moment in time, and replacing De Gea would be practically impossible.
Bale is worth more than De Gea and De Gea will be in the final year of his contract. I wouldn't like us to swap them as I like De Gea way too much for that but I'm not going to pretend that getting a £70m player in exchange for a player that is worth £25m maximum given his contract situation wouldn't be an amazing deal.

I really don't get how people don't know this.Express make all of their stories up.
Cheers. I wasn't actually thinking about our mate Carlos, had completely forgotten about that bell. More, Denis law and Peter Schmeical are the ones that spring to mind.

This will happen. Real always get their man. Summer i think. Only chance he'll stay is if we get CL.
No they don't.
Tomorrow's Sun (Neil Curtis) - De Gea tells teamates he's staying at United:
Surprised they've made Rodgers the lead when they are also reporting about another bastard sugar daddy apparently coming into the league at Spurs
His English is absolutely fine.Well sure Neymar went to Barca. Did you hear his interview? His English is poor, so hes probably not fully settled. Going back to Spain would be easy, playing for a club competing to win the CL, rather than hopefully being back in it.
I hope i'm wrong, but i think we all saw this one coming some way out. It'll be gutting when he leaves.

What are you talking about, for someone who has only been speaking english for 3 years its fine. Also he clearly looks settled. Get out of this paranoid, small minded mentality. We are in the stronger position, not Real. We have no need to sell. They also have Keylor Navas on the bench if Casillas leaves, they just need a back up.Well sure Neymar went to Barca. It's not arrogance, but confidence. We're back to this level of arrogance of assumed top 4 already? I trust this is just the lingering high from the Liverpool win.
If we don't get into the CL this season then I doubt he'd be the only one considering moves so lets hope your right

Anyway, it's also the rest of the league not looking too clever, I just don't see any more than 2 teams (3 at a very big stretch) capable of finishing above us.
Heard a good conspiracy theory on a podcast. Dave and Falcao both have the same agent, Jorge Mendes. A bloke who presumably stands to make a lot of money if we press on and sign Falcao on a permanent deal. Now, how could he exert pressure on the club to do exactly that?
