Day 6 | Croatia vs Albania | Germany vs Hungary | Scotland vs Switzerland

Always watch Sane and think he was born in the wrong era, he belongs on the left touchline getting to the byline not inverted from the right

Nagelsmann for United manager

He does seem to know what he's doing:
-Can only joins the squad after Pavlovic's injury but he has a clear role in the squad (replace Andrich after 60-70 minutes as the DM to cover Kroos' lack of legs).
-Starts the 3 #10s to control the game and give Kroos passing options narrow and then brings on his wingers when the other team has tired legs.

I thought Munich figured out he's better on the left last year. There were articles on it and everything.

Oh well.

Hopefully we can beat Scotland for the sake of a nice farewell to the tournament.
Ukraine qualified with 3 points in the previous tournament

it’s still possible although unlikely

Sane been very egoistic this tournament so far.

VAR could've looked at that. But they only seem interested in intervening when they can disallow a goal.

Not sure we can read too much in those Germany wins considering how poor the opposition has been. Nevertheless, they are through to knock-outs.

Did you know he used to play for Chelsea?

Feels like most of the players kicking around at the moment were at Chelsea at some point.

Still England losing Musiala and Olise is pretty sad. Both would be starters for England in the next few years imo.

Sane isn't the most brainless winger in this tournament, but that's only because Mudryk exists.

Good win but Germany are definitely vulnerable at the back. A good team will punish their defensive lapses.

How are they vulnerable? Tah and Rüdiger are the best cb pairing so far in this tournament. Their only goal against is an own goal. It’s a bit absurd to imagine that other teams won’t threaten that some point at this level.

That's an awfully superficial way to look at Germany's defensive performance.

Been a few games since we won against Hungary, so no complaints. Some tight spots though, which could have turned the game on its head.

Atleast 90% of all players have played for Chelsea Juventus or Atletico

I fancy them to beat France if they face each other.

Surely just as competent and accomplished as your can't see the forest for the trees way of looking at it. Don't reach mate.
