Sané would probably just bring a different shade of invisible. This is a job for Werner.Havertz the invisible man so far. Surely Sane or someone else would be a better option.

Having 4 players from Bayern on the same lineup it’s helpful for the rest of the tournament, don’t know how many players from Spain have that advantage, even England usually they don’t have a lot of players from the same club. It’s early to take conclusions. Most germans expected pretty much exactly this, except that we didn't concede as many chances off counters as I'd though.
This setup won't work against strong teams, there's nothing urgent and dangerous about it.
Oh yeah forgot about Werner. Need someone to make the French defence think.Sané would probably just bring a different shade of invisible. This is a job for Werner.

Danilo and Carvalho get the run around from this midfield though. No more mobile than the Germans and far worse on the ballPortugal cause this French side problems. They are beatable
I think they had Ousmane in that game against Australia, no? The balance was definitely off, but I don't think Deschamps will move from the Mbappe-Benz-Grizmann front three, it is balanced IMO (at least compared to the one against Australia), just missing those game-time automatisms.
précisémentThis is what you get with a water carrier in charge.
For sure, definitely have to pick and choose games when to play him there, but even if we do, neither Fred nor McTominay are ideal partners. Matic was a perfect partner for a year and Pogba did very well that year, if not for Mourinho picking fights for no reason.Sometimes. He has lapses in concentration, but when he doesn’t, he’s had many good games in the centre of midfield for us, as recently as this season. He won our POTM before he was really moved to the left, for example.
Playing him in the pivot has risks, but those risks are luckily not always realised. And when they are not, he’s had many good games there. But I agree that the lowest risk is in a 3 (not that Rabiot has done anything at all tonight!).
Flick in the stands, probably thinking about how to tell Gündan and Kroos that they won't play together in a midfield two once he's at the helm.
He's from BadenLöw still thinks he is the Schwaben-Guardiola and will one day get a team only made out of playmakers play mesmerizing tiki taka.
