Sane is injuredWhere the feck was sane?
Why is the corpse of goetze still in the team?
England have the most expensive squad on the tournament and have had very good results in the last 5 years. They're one of the favorites, for sure.I meant nobody expected Croatia or England to get to the semi in 2018. Considering the quality of England entering this tournament you woudn't have expected them to get to the semi or final this year either but nobody looks that good. Even teams that have played well (like France/England) have looked pretty shaky at the back!
England will have a free run if this continues.

Why? They both got knocked out early last time out as well. European teams are massively overrated as a result of their "dominance".
The only reason they have been "dominant" is there are only two non-European teams that can win, one of them typically being grossly mismanaged, so chances are one of the European sides is hitting their sweetspot just in time.
And their fans tidy the stadium when they leave too. They even did it on the opening game when Japan weren’t even playing! You have to admire the Japanese, best, most civil people on the planet. No shithousery or time wasting even after going up against the mighty Germany. Respect!
Japs have always been good technically and do the basics well. It makes them tricky opponents despite other limitations they might have. The first touch of the Japanese player who scored the 2nd was glorious.Neuer won’t like seeing the replay of that !

Japan have been great.
Germany are so flaccid, same as Argentina. have to wonder if the mid-season world cup is taking its toll on the players in the big leagues. Or maybe they're both just crap.

Not a great look for the sport when you get several boring goaless draws in succession at the flagship event
Maybe. Might just be a weeb
