I thought it was a good decision. The end to end game was draining them, they needed some control in midfield. Of the front 3, you cant really take hazard or de bruyne off in case it goes to extra time as theres a big difference in quality in the bench. Lukaku can be reasonably replaced with their bench options.

Brazil with Casemiro were arguably the best team in the competition. Casemiro's absence cost them big time.

Brazil was much better team today. And to be honest they had two 50 50 calls for penalty. France will win against belgium. Their defence is awful.

The best thing about Brazil team this world cup is zero minutes for Fred . So he will be fairly well rested and up dated in training . I think he might join in earlier than expected for pre season .
