Can't think of Belgian player that was poor. Brazil were great till the OG but after that Belgium has been all lover them on the counters.
 
Welp, neither team can defend. But the difference is Belgium have a very sharp and impressive front 3 of Hazard, De Bruyne and Lukaku to capitalize on it, while Neymar, Willian and Jesus looked average and were outshone.

Fellaini got through a half as part the midfield 3 and was fine.
 
Fellaini is such a player that you want on your side. He gets away with constant fouling, is a constant nuisance and is great at heading in both penalty areas.

Both today games looks easy for France and Belgium
 
Just realised it wasn't just a 2014 thing, but I love to see Brazil losing.
 
Not sure what Brazil can really do here. Get Firmino on for Jesus and Costa on for Willian, but they're so susceptible to the counter.
 
Pretty impressed by Belgium. If they keep improving like this from game to game they will have a good chance of winning the whole thing.
 
Belgium had to score first I thought to have the belief to win over the historical significance of Brazil and all that brings with it but they’re already believing. They’ve been brilliant.

Brazil look lacking.
 
Brazil very dangerous in the final third every time but getting getting completely overpowered physically. Belgium s counterattack looks lethal. Brazil will need to score quickly after HT or I could see this getting very ugly for them (again).
 
This could end up 4-0 or 4-1.
 
Let me guess, Firmino needs to come on to flip Brazil's fortunes around?

Amazing run by Lukaku, clinical by De Bruyne from his favorite spot. Hazard can release the ball sooner but he's been good. Fellaini with the needed elbow on Neymar.
 
Really entertaining half of football that. Should be a few more goals in this games as well. I can see Brazil getting a goal at least, and Belgium's counter attacks likely to get them more as well.
 
If you had to chose between Klinsmann and Shearer to be your son-in-law who would you chose and why?
 
Belgium is really strong side and enjoyable to watch. Fellaini, Hazard, KDB and Lukaku playing si well together.
 
Missing Casemiro to my eye. Fernandinho is letting De Bruyne find too much space and time on the ball. Hazard has been killing Fagner as well. Need to strengthen their resolve and organization.
Also feel that Firmino might have been able to nick one of those chances in the first 15 minutes.

Please no. He's good on the bench. Belgium is exploiting the physical ability difference even in midfield. Brazil may get worse now they have to go out. Fred is better stay away from experiencing this kind of trauma.
 
TBF, Casemiro absence is so effective. Brazil are terrible in defending counters without him.
 
I’m struggling to see anyone other than Belgium winning this World Cup.
 
I've never actually seen Fred play a match. Bring him on.

I've also realised I dislike Brazil because they don't have a single United player on the pitch. Argentina at least had Rojo.
