Day 23: Uruguay vs France and Brazil vs Belgium

Think he had a window to play Lukaku through there.

Still a good move though.

Lukaku is definitely in the heads of the centerbacks

Don't know why everyone is shitting on Fellaini, I don't think he's done much wrong in this match. Witsel on the other hand is shocking.

Too early to say, but Brazil's overdependence on Coutinho could be shown up by Belgium's class. First top team Brazil are facing.

Belgium are up but in no world is a midfield 3 of Fellaini, Witsel and Chadli a good one. Just because they came on late and scored in the last game, Martinez plays them. Terrible manager.

Will be very, very surprised if Brazil don't at least score one.

Tielemans should be playing

Huge gaps in Brazil central midfield when they lose the ball.

Casemiro massive miss here, Fernandinho dosen't have the legs for this sort of end to end game.

Said a few times but to me Coutinho + 3 is too unbalanced but Coutinho's great individual form has masked over that.

Exactly. Speaks volumes about Martinez when he has alienated nainggolan and put Dembele on the bench. Having them both would make their midfield a whole lot better.

Just counted we have 9 players left in the tournament. Does anybody else have more ?

Fellaini
Lukaku
Fred
Jones
Young
Lingard
Rashford
Lindelof
Pogba

Nothing more satisfying on the international stage than Brazil losing. Germany run them close but Brazil just takes the cake.

You've got world class dribblers like Hazard and Neymar on display. Then there's Lukaku

That was shoulder against shoulder, Marcelo just couldn't handle RedRom.
