Day 23: Uruguay vs France and Brazil vs Belgium

Not enough shithousery as I was hoping.

This isn't a dirty team. The one hack in the game was an attacking midfielder having a poor first touch and making a classic Scholes tackle. Cost us a goal.

Tabárez keeps banging on about no fouls in the final third and if people got past "Suarez cnut punchable ratface" they would see it's just a bunch of disciplined hardworking individuals.

I assume English isn't your first language?
Im implying that based on the flow of the game I'm expecting an Uruguay equalizer rather than another goal for France.

The flow changes with a goal though. The longer it goes without an equaliser the more likely France get a second and third by the end.

Now france are irritating. They have so much talent yet have shit tactics and boring.

Uruguay are one filthy team. Going in wildly and without control every single time. Footballers know how to tackle to give dead legs etc. and this Uruguay team have perfected the art.

These Uruguay players are absolute cnuts. Always protesting against blatant fouls
South American football has not covered itself in glory this world cup, unfortunately.

Edit: that said, Uruguay haven't been too bad overall, to be fair.

Uruguay deserve to go out if they only try to play after going a goal down. Less of these cynical shitehouse teams in the latter rounds the better.

Ah feel so bad for keepers when they make mistakes like that. Almost even felt bad for Karius. Devestating.
