Day 2 | Hungary vs Switzerland | Spain vs Croatia | Italy vs Albania

Cant stand Spain but i have to say they look better than some of their more superstar loaded teams of the past.

They're more direct. None of the endless passing we've seen in recent tournaments.

feck me cupboard must be bare for Croatia if they're still playing Saudi league geriatrics like Brozovic.

Another goal.

Some of the defending seems a bit training ground lax on with the keep ball goals/shots around the box so far.

Barca.

Cubarsi is 17 and already played for Spain too.

Barca have done a phenomenal job bringing through youth products and integrating them into the first team.

I would say they are pretty terrible at that final part. Because of their financial situation and the pressure to win, they are ruining their youngsters. Fati might never recover, Pedri has already had difficulties with muscle injuries , Gavi has had surgery on his ACL and they look determined to run Yamal into the ground at 16 too.

Their youth football and culture is phenomenal, but the main team have failed their youngsters and look determined to continue in the same vain.

It’s an issue I worry about with Ten Hag staying at United now too. Mainoo played way too much this season and Garnacho played 35 games in a row to finish the season.

Before the two goals I was about to say that Spain didn’t look very good at all. Croatia were beginning to dominate and looked more dangerous. Then bam, two goals.

The first was simply unforgivable defending. Zero concentration. The second was nice footwork, but there’s no way you let a player dribble like that on the edge of your box surrounded by players. Really poor from Croatia.

Very weak Croatia. @giorno may stop crying on the forum and think about the qualification.

Cucurella doing a Busquets there
