What a tactical mess by Portugal. Their entire approach makes no sense. Hollywood long balls to nowhere instead of building real chances and retraining possession.

That was surprising. He had a chance to score during those only minutes that Morocco looked unorganized. Instead, they almost scored the second and were able to keep their lead at half time.

Never understood why Santos benched Patrício. He was always reliable and one of the big reasons why we won the Euro 2016. Diogo Costa terrible in this world cup. Difficult decision for Portugal's manager now. Ronaldo replacement is utterly anonymous today, but no guarantee Ronaldo will be any better. But will have to get him on soonish if they're losing, as going out and leaving Ronaldo out will be the end of him.

Tournament football is mental. All about managing the game in sections of 10 to 15 minutes. Also, the pressure must be immense when you can see a route to the final.
