belgium need to get Hazard in the game more. And they should probably stop passing the ball to De Bruyne.
 
Belgium have one of the most selfish group of players I've ever seen. It's no wonder they're struggling to score when half their team just shoot from 40 yards out whenever the first opportunity to arises

bollocks. Howard and Donovan not trying to get CL football doesnt hold US football back. Thats just drama queen bullshit. US football keeps moving forward with steady progress. Stop spouting nonsense

Why do so many left-footed players seem to have such sweet strikes? The ratio of 'sweet-strikers to number of players' is so much lower for lefties.

Yep. One thing for sure is if this ends up 0-0 in normal time, it's definitely much better than the Argentina match earlier. Wish I had bet big on under 2.5 goals for all the round of 16 matches, would have made a killing by now.
 
These Belgium players take so many extra touches to slow the tempo down that its hard to comprehend why.
 
The US commentator on ESPN keeps talking about how amazing it is for Jevlin (sp.?) to come on with no warm up. Unaware it seems that that's part and parcel of football.

I don't think it would necessarily. If Howard played at Athetico it would make a difference in US soccer? Doubtful. If we were talking about a striker? A player that scores? Then maybe.
 
I reckon Woodward is sitting somewhere licking his lips at Yedlin's performance. Relative peanuts could get him and we can turn him into a global star I reckon.
