Day 11: England vs Panama, Japan vs Senegal and Poland vs Colombia

In this sort of form they should beat Senegal. Although Senegal are a lot better than Poland.

That'll be a good match. Poland have 0 threat down the wings whereas Senegal's wingers are very good. Although they were a man down against Japan, they really struggled with Japan flooding the wings with their fullbacks.

Can't see Japan not getting at least a draw against Poland so Columbia will have to win to not go out.

Brilliant football and brilliant atmosphere by the Colombians. Oh, and those women:drool:

That was easily the most impressive performance of the weekend for me.

This Columbia team need to get through to the knock-out round because they are so great to watch.

And also, great to see Falcao get his goal (great finish, by the way), because he deserves it.

My only complaint is that they didn't sing the Falcao song (Lo Lo Lo-Lo-Loooo Radamel Falcao...)! So I sang it!

Great performance.

England really want to finish 2nd in their group. I could see us getting to the semis at least if we do.

Does Roy Keane have a problem with G Nev? He never gives him eye contact or directly speaks to him. Strange.

We sold James

I'm never getting over this. Now Pique wants barcelona to sign him. FFS

Japan only need a draw, which I think will happen - so they'll go through second.

Colombia will be too much for Senegal

Japan will beat Poland and finish first. The Polish players are off to their holiday right after the final whistle today.

Colombia must beat Senegal to advance, that would be some game.

Yeah man! Universally panned when linked with him last year! (Just search it) But not to derail the thread. He was great tonight.
I remember a lot saying they didn't want him cause we didn't need another #10 but I can't remember much else. Wouldn't surprise me on the caf though.

No enthusiasm in the polish team this tournament. They looked a lot like the England team from the last couple of tournaments. Maybe the average age of the squad makes a difference. The current england squad are pretty young and seem to be enjoying themselves away with the lads.

He was still more of a squad player at Madrid (sort Bale has become). Averaged about 25 games in his three years there.

Obviously stats look good as he would've featured in their big league wins, same for Bayern.

Looking more if he can lift a team's level in CL.

Can Senegal grind out a win against the Colombians? It will be a fierce battle.

Peaked at Euro 2016. Key players injured/out of form.
