Day 11: England vs Panama, Japan vs Senegal and Poland vs Colombia

I love these sorts of games at the world cup. Japan v Senegal. Where else would you get to sit down on a sunday afternoon and watch these sort of match ups.

Fully agree with you there. It's what makes the World Cup better than the Euros, imo.

Oh no you didn’t! The European teams deserve 90% of the slots brigade is policing the threads and are going to come down hard on you for that statement

Stupid defending as well. Head it out for a corner if you don't know what's behind you, you plonker.

Lucky goal from Senegal
But at the moment Senegal played better than japan

Senegal good again. Japan struggling with actually playing 11 playes in a full game.

Senegal will be a bit of a wildcard in the knock outs I think.

I'm finding it impossible not to say "Niii-ooong, Niiii-ooong" with a racecar sound effect every two seconds.

Decent game this, 2 teams looking to attack, but different styles. Senegal could kill Japan on the counter if they get it right.

Senegal just to quick all over the park. Japan don't even look like getting any second ball.

Interesting thing too is that the stats says Japan leads in possession, but the optics says that Senegal is physical and faster and seems to be with the ball all the time.

Too many fouls by Senegal going unpinished, really stopping Japan from playing atm.

Guy... this World Cup has been thousand times better than the shit EURO 2016 and it's not even funny. Better squads, interesting matches, different styles, more remarkable moments, greater atmosphere (Mexican and Senegalese supporters are great) and such. It's much better to watch teams who are really eager to win.
