Day 11: England vs Panama, Japan vs Senegal and Poland vs Colombia

what the feck is going on? This isn't England at a major tournament, this isn't how we play
Actually this has not been a typical world cup. I have enjoyed majority of the matches and there has been some surprising drama in the early stages due to general improved quality from a lot of teams.

Feck me we could get quite a few more goals here. Really good performance from us

I don't know which is the worst trait of the BBC commentary team today, the self congratulatory jokey smugness or the complete ineptitude. :(

You think you have it bad.....spare a thought for those of us watching it in the US. Fox outbid ESPN this time around and took it upon themselves to assemble whatever the opposite of a dream team is. A collection of absolute cretins. It is EXCRUTIATING.

Is 10-1 the record? Could see that being surpassed today, Panama are miles out of their depth here.

Do the english players realize that finishing first in the group will most likely send them to the bad side of the draw? They can only win by 5.

Panama and Saudi Arabia need to play a final to confirm the worst team at the WC.

Remember when that poster got shit on for saying Lingard was better than Alli?
There's at least an argument now

Ali does nothing outside of running and scoring goals. Lingard is a much better footballer at this stage, technically superior in his general play. Ali has to improve his first touch at the top level.

I can't believe I have seen the day when England have more of an organised attack than United.

I wonder if all those people who compared what Belgium did yesterday to what we are doing today?

Also, in a game where everybody is basically taking the piss now.. Raheem Sterling is still dropping a 5/10 performance. Drag him off at half time I say.
