He might be to old as he turns 29 next season... I would be really skeptical if we were to sign him.. New game, more physical game with more pace, less room to work with. Morientes always did really well in Spain but completely failed in Liverpool. Kanoute and Forlan are other examples that struggled in England but thrived in Spain. Forlan has actually been very similar to David Villa in Spain on paper. I am not saying he is going to ****, but I doubt he would be the same in Chelsea that he currently is in Valencia. Brilliant player though, little question about that, but would he be value for money? Villa might end up as another Shevhenko. Pato would be a better signing, then again more expensive too. I bet Real Madrid are ready to throw tons of money at him this summer.

Barca won't go crazy at all. They have debts and Rosell who is coming in is talking about downsizing and conserving. The Villa transfer looks to be 30 million euros, Marca have just added another 10 for whatever reason maybe they're worried that Barca might sign a World Class player for half what they paid for Kaka.

I don't understand how people say he is too good for them? If David Villa who is a much much better player than Ibrahimovic plays for them then surely he can too.. However the point of contention is will Ibrahimovic's ego allow him to play for a non top team in any league?
Having said that I don't think Ibrahimovic will be on the move anytime soon.. I cannot possibly see who would be interested in him at that price! Shows how well Inter and to a certain extent Jose (by constantly saying he isn't for sale and marking him down as un-transferable and naming him in the same breath as Ronaldo and Messi) did to get that deal with Eto'o coming in the opposite direction..
