Emou feels a little forced now.
That's his whole thing though. We will be seeing Emou for a while yet I reckon.

That was brilliant. Also the king in the car park bit was very good!Obviously considering the subject there are very few jokes, but beautifully done all the same.

Pickford, McTominay kneeling, Sarri with the cigarettes
Sarri is almost - almost! - as horrible here as in that photo where he chews on the cigarette butt.https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...squires-on-the-weekend-premier-league-derbies

What's the kneeling thing?
I'm trying to see a reason behind it.oh, why did he do that?
No discernible effect.... that could be said about any McTominay performance.
It had no discernable effect though. As you may have guessed.
Brozovic did it v Barca (few other examples too). Presumably we copied it as we're so open to new ideas.....I'm trying to see a reason behind it.
Maybe if the Soton player went for a low ground effort, and our players naturally jump, then you're leaving DDG rather flat footed so having McTom there blocking sounds sort of understandable..I guess ?
But apart from that long-winded theory I haven't a clue.

Wait wait, is it actually legal for a player to lay down flat behind the wall?Brozovic did it v Barca (few other examples too). Presumably we copied it as we're so open to new ideas.....

I never asked myself that question before. It just seems like something that would be banned. Why wouldn't it be legal ?

He's behind the wall so more than ten yards. Nothing in rules about lying down.Wait wait, is it actually legal for a player to lay down flat behind the wall?
It isn't why should it be? Besides, he didn't just lie there, he dived in at the last second. It was actually a brilliant play, most likely saved a goal as Suarez did go below the wall and the ball hit brozovicI never asked myself that question before.
