Glad it's just not me that doesn't find him funny. I really like his illustrations but the humor falls flat.

Yes. I enjoy figuring the references but nothing else. It's a bit like Family Guy, Stranger Things or Alternative MUFC Commentary. I don't seek them out. They are constantly presented to me, but I'll stay to figure out the references the same way I pore over a crossword.

Humour is like those awful paddy power adverts. Stretched out gags with far too much exposition. Also, Squires' view on United is akin to the likes of Nick Hancock or Des Cahill. It'd kill him to be nice to us.
 
Squires is great. If he’s skewering your club it’s part of the fun.

Agree about his humor but I do think his tributes to players can be quite poignant. His tribute to Sir Bobby last year was excellent.
