Let this be a lesson to anyone on here who thought Moyes had a clue what he was doing.
West Ham are a fecking disgrace.

"Guaranteed to fail" is a complete and utter pile of horse shit.I don't get the hate for Moyes. Yes he was a disaster for us. But talk about a job where you are almost guaranteed to fail. Followed by Real Sociadad....guaranteed to fail. Sunderland.... Completely toxic club. Ask any one of their previous and current manager.
And then takes over at a failing west ham club. Yes an idiot but not for the reasons people think. He is an idiot for choosing the worst jobs out there.
He sure has a knack for picking jobs, must be said. The Midas touch, except that everything turns to shit, not gold.

Yes I'm serious. If you hate him then you hate the board and Ferguson. They were as much to blame. If you hire Bob the baker with 2 successful businesses to run Microsoft then you can't hate Bob for giving it a go.Are you talking seriously ?!
You can if Bob's a cnut.Yes I'm serious. If you hate him then you hate the board and Ferguson. They were as much to blame. If you hire Bob the baker with 2 successful businesses to run Microsoft then you can't hate Bob for giving it a go.
Amen.Awful club, awful fans, awful owners, awful team, awful stadium, awful manager.
Just close the whole lot down. No one will miss them.

you winYou can if Bob's a cnut.
That's it exactly. He was a failure but he was also a total wanker and continued to talk shit years after failingYou can if Bob's a cnut.
Does anyone know exactly what the fans are so angry and aggressive about? Like literally what they want (seems problem with board)?
Sorry for being so ignorant, can’t just be a few bad results, others teams do worse and seem to keep it together (re fans and aggression).

But new stadium is much bigger, flashy (compared to old one), modern, they got it at a snip apparently, isn’t too far away etc too, right?Personally from the outside it looks to me like the stadium move by the owners ripped the soul out of their club.
That stadium is an outrage. Upton Park was a great ground, their home, and those two owners ripped them away from it. It is disgusting. I don’t like west ham I have sympathy for their fans in this occasion. I thoroughly dislike gold and Sullivan.
Wasn't guaranteed to fail at Sociadad. Didn't bother to adapt to the league, or learn the language, and his successor managed to get the team up the table, clinching 6th following year.I don't get the hate for Moyes. I'm guessing it's a combination of the relocation to a shite stadium (which has increased season ticket prices to over £1000 a pop, 4th most expensive in the league) the crap performances and the fact that they hired Moyes. The new badge is also a change that probably amplifies the drastic changes at the club in recent years. The club that most of their fans fell in love with is all but gone now.Personally from the outside it looks to me like the stadium move by the owners ripped the soul out of their club.

I'd be livid too if it had happened to United. Just the Moyes thing was bad enough.
ditto.
Agreed. Just seeing him annoys me and brings back memories of that's season. The amount of satisfaction I get from his failure worries me.
