David Moyes West Ham Manager | Gone (pedantic sod Sarni)

Starting to get a bit of momentum. Unlucky not to get anything the game vs City, beat Chelsea and got a point against Arsenal. Considering most, including myself, would have probably thought Moyes wouldn't have got anything in those three games, I think he's done really well.

He makes them hard to beat. His problem will be against lower midtable clubs where they are favourites and he needs to win.

Every dog has his day and all that. So long as he keeps his trap shut about United, he can take West Ham to the Champions League and win the cup for all I care.

Beat Chelsea, beat Stoke- we got 1 point in these fixtures! #ChosenOne

Yeah, how the f#ck did we drop points to those sh!houses stoke
Because teams like these cheat their fans by trying ultra hard against united and not putting in an equal effort every week, like I said they are basically cheating their fans and manager.

City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Stoke - 7 points so fair play.

Made them solid at the back which was crucial. If they stay up, he will milk every second of "The great escape", no doubt. The fact they're a too good team to get relegated in the first place will be forgotten somehow.

Fair play. He is doing well.
I still thoroughly dislike the man for what he did with to MUFC.

We need a manager like him, if he’s got West Ham playing like that then imagine what he could do with a squad like ours? Let’s cut our loses with Mourinho and sign him up. Sign him, sign him, sign him up.

Well done Moysey, this feels like that time Sunderland won two games in a row.

Yeah if Moyes keeps them up it will be an amazing achievement. Especially doing it with a team like West Ham who only narrowly avoided relegation the last few years by finishing 12th, 7th and 11th.

West Ham should be midtable. That's where their talent level and investment should be putting them.

A bit like Everton, he's taken over an underachieving sleeping team and will bring them back to where they rightfully should be, but the media will act like he's rescued and then 'built up' the club himself.

I have to admit though, it's nice to see him get a few wins. He's such a loser that I can't help but feel a small amount of warmth for his little smile after the pressure he was under.

But I think many, many managers could get results with this West Ham side.

He is doing something right at least with this team. I guess injuries to their key strikers made him played with two battering rams up front in Antonio and Arnautovic which seems to work.

Well done to Moyes. Even though I thought West Ham would be mid-table with or without Moyes, he's had some strong results so credit where it's due.

The weird thing was what happened to Bilic? He had some good seasons, won a lot of praise but then had a bad start and wasn't allowed to fix it. Did things start to go wrong behind the scenes with his handling of the Payet situation I wonder?

Not surprising he is having some minor success motivating what was not that bad a squad. I never thought he was that bad of a manager, in truth.

The hatred on here towards Moyes is excessive in my opinion. Fergie's title winning team of 2012-13 needed rebuilding and Moyes in all sincerity thought he would be given the time to rebuild the side. In hindsight he was naive. But I don't see what he did to evoke such hatred. I mean Souness destroyed Liverpool when he took over so in that sense my dislike for Souness is justified. Moyes didn't let anybody go who shouldn't have gone. Indeed his signings Mata and Fellaini are still at Utd so LVG and Mourinho rated both players.
I think he is a good manager at a medium size club level and I see him making a good fist of the job at West Ham. For those who say he inherited a good squad at WH it is the same squad that struggled so badly under Slaven Bilic so Moyes is doing something right. They may yet get relegated its true. I have a feeling they won't. Interesting to see how it pans out. Credit to Roy Hodgson for the job he is doing at Palace.

It's simply, just read what he says about his reign at Old Trafford. I don't think he would have taken half of the abuse he's getting had he kept his mouth shut about United. While his quotes make me laugh rather than anger, I undestand people that get wound up by his comments.

Credit to Moyes. They got momentum now and that will help him a lot. His biggest problem is the mental side of things. Although I think tactically he have improved them no doubt. Chelsea win was massive for them. If they can knock out Arsenal from the league cup that will give another big boost to them.

Got some good players in that team as well so with the form they got now they should be able to stay up. It will not be pretty, but it is functional right now.

A huge portion of the animosity he gets isn't for being a poor manager for us, its his complete lack of responsibility of his actions. Did Souness blame everyone else?

Credit where it's due, the man is turning things around there after an iffy start. He's doing a solid job so far, he's done us a couple favours too in the process. He still does my head in, though.

He is certainly very smug and not someone you would really like. Sometimes being the bad manager can work though.
LVG is certainly worse in my view when it comes to just doing stupid things.

Moyes hit the rock bottom with Sunderland and maybe it improved him in some way (don't think he is open to changing much). He still sound deluded, but maybe it gave him some fire as well that he needed.
