I would be lost for words too..yikes
De Gea was slow to react to the shot if you watch the replay and focus on De Gea rather than Neves. He moved his feet too late to stop it IMO. If he was unsighted then then fair enough but if he wasn't then I would expect him to react quicker and save that shot. Those shots don't have to be in the corner for the keeper to stand no chance. Its not a pen.
Adnan mate, you are one of the better posters on here, but that is absolute bonkers. The ball hits the post on the way in, and the whole United and most of Wolves's team in front of De Gea, come the feck on now.Calm down Bob I know you're a fan boy but no need to get childish.
Watch De Gea when Neves shoots carefully and IMO he's slow to move his feet which is the reason we concede that goal. That shot wasn't in the corner and was saveable IMO.
Maybe i'm wrong then Kostov. I just felt he could've moved his feet alittle quicker. But if he was unsighted then fair enough. Maybe i'm knit-picking..Adnan mate, you are one of the better posters on here, but that is absolute bonkers. Glad we both agree on that.Maybe i'm wrong then Kostov. I just felt he could've moved his feet alittle quicker. But if he was unsighted then fair enough. Maybe i'm knit-picking..
But apart from that he was good and his distribution was on point which was good to see.

Another poster also mentioned that he believed he was saw the shot too late due to being unsighted. if that is the case then he's blameless. He can only do that after he sees the ball. And he clearly only saw it once it was past the onrushing blocking players. And hence when you look from the front on view where you can see the ball all the way it looks like he was a little late to move. If you see it from behind the goal you'll see he had no chance.
I was at the game and saw the shot from within the stadium and from many replays after. But it's a pointless discussion now after someone brought it to my attention he was unsighted by Moutinho. It has nothing to do with fanboyism, and a lot more to do with your inability to actually analyze a situation.
Neves does extremely well after what seemed to be a poor second touch which takes the ball too close to his foot and slightly behind him. For the goalkeeper, given how close to Neves' body the ball is, it makes it more difficult to see when the shot is coming given the amount of United players closing Neves down. Secondly, the path of the ball, the height it reaches and just dipping at the right time to hit just below the crossbare makes it extremely difficult to save it even if he sees the shot early enough. People see these shots in videos and they don't grasp the pace it's actually hit at, or the distances. Given the average reaction time, distance to goal and how well it's hit, it's absurd to complain about it, especially so given the fact that he actually gets his fingertips on it. Believing the shot wasn't struck with power at all is just the tip of the iceberg...
If there's anything to complain about, it's Lingards positioning for that corner. Every other United player is covering someone, but Neves is stuck outside the box waiting for a potential pass while Lingard thinks he should act as 3rd cover for Rashford and James...
Sorry I meant Raul Jiminez and not Moutinho. Cheers Pogue..Awesome. Someone will find a way to blame Lingard for global warming next.
Back on topic, one thing those photos clearly show is a) Raul was yards offside b) he made no attempt to get back onside and c) he was directly between De Gea and the path of the ball.
VAR, eh? Bloody hell.

He doesn't have time to move his feet or the ball will be past him before he can dive.De Gea was slow to react to the shot if you watch the replay and focus on De Gea rather than Neves. Yeah people always say DDG is our only world class player but he's been subpar for a while now, especially for his standards. He's not even the best keeper in the league anymore. It's always funny seeing people jumping in to kill pogba but de gea is supposed to be a world class player that people constantly defend. The guy doesn't want to be here and has been poor for over a year now.
Aren't these the same excuses people made for Alexis last year? He's no longer world class and if we actually have him sign that 5 year deal we deserve every bit of mediocrity we are suffering from.Yeah people always say DDG is our only world class player but he's been subpar for a while now, especially for his standards.
