De Gea at worst is the second best GK in the world after Neur. I think that's the fair assessment till he performs for his national team as the latter but at the end, that doesn't even concern us as long as he's doing the job for United.

I don't think that anyone can deny that DDG is a great goalkeeper. The question is whether or not he's the best goalkeeper on the planet.
Neuer was great in the 2010 World Cup, great in the 2014 World Cup, and has consistently performed at a high level for many years in the Champions League.

The problem for De Gea perception-wise is that he's had less time playing on the biggest stages (CL & WC) than would ordinarily be the case for a player of his quality.
He is still in fact the best goalkeeper on the planet though. At this stage one game shouldn't change anyone on this forum's opinion of him either way.

To be fair, there are far loads of assumptions made on just one match right. It was only his second World Cup match if I'm not wrong. Could be a case of nerves.
Neuer strikes you as mentally strong and certain of himself.
DDG less so. From when he very first arrived and looked like a rabbit in the headlights, he doesn't seem as capable of coping with pressure. Back then Fergie looked after him and kept him out of the firing line when it was getting too much for him. For Spain there are questions and he keeps making daft errors. He's absolute top dog at United and he's far more comfortable in that environment.
You say that but I have seen Neuer commit some absolute blunders himself. No GK is 100 % mistake-free.

I watch Serie A and I La LIga and I think both Alisson and Oblak are better.

You really think specifically for goalkeepers the Spanish league is harder than the English? The English league is much harder for keepers. Look at Bravo for crying out loud.
Oblak is great and for my money #2 but let's not act like he doesn't have Europe's best defense and the hardest working midfield from a defensive contribution standpoint in front of him.

Oblak ok there is competition there. If we were to lose DDG he’s the only person i’d be ok with to replace him. For me it’s probably still DeGea out of those two but it is damn close. Can’t say I’ve ever really watched Allison.
