He would be a replacement for Sancho.
Cannot allow myself to think that
He would be a replacement for Sancho.
I just can't stop myself drooling to imagine our attacking option if we sign Sancho & Brooks this summer. Please Ed & Matt, make it happen!
As much as I would like to see him here this really is a nothing article that may as have come from the Sun or daily star
If Brooks and Sarr aren’t good enough for squad players, who are? Minimino? Origi? Chupo Moting? Coman? Lucas Vazquez?Nothing story and not good enough.
Even as a squad player he is not good enough.
Would rather Saar and even him not good enough.
We were just dissing Demebele, then to this guy? I don't believe it. Nothing story.
Are Dortmund signing Brooks?
I wouldn't pay £20m for him. Underwhelming. Major concerns over his ankle injury. An entire season lost due to that surgery: 11 months. This would be a pointless signing. So that'll be around 40 mil with the British passport and Man United taxes included. Wow. From Sancho to Brooks. Underwhelmed doesn't even begin to describe it.
Were Brooks a United player, I bet we wouldn't be able to sell him for even £10mHonestly be more than happy to add him to the squad. Offers something our current squad doesn’t, Young and knows the league too.
As long as the fee is sensible around £20m max
If we can’t get sancho - get him and grealish
One runner / winger and an additional playmaker.
We need to add quality players and both are added value ability wise...
Oh they don't play for our big team so they are great, that's the feeling I'm getting around here and the same people would be up in arms if Liverpool signed him and he turns out great. If Brooks and Sarr aren’t good enough for squad players, who are? Minimino? Origi? Chupo Moting? Coman? Lucas Vazquez?
Pretty much all of those negative comments ref to him struggling to play out wide . I don't think we'd be buying him as a flying winger. I still think we want Sancho. Brooks would be a versatile upgrade on Lingard, Pereira and Mata.EDIT - Sorry to edit my post. I'm trying to put some effort into them - trying to do some research to hopefully, possibly provide interesting reading - but because I posted at a weird time it hasn't been approved and the thread has already moved on a couple of pages meaning it's unlikely to be seen. If it's alright, I'll post it again tomorrow - so no need to appove if you see this message. Thanks, appreciate it. If this isn't allowed/considered a repost...that's obviously fine.

Before his injury, he seemed to be developing well - but that was a real brick wall for his progress.
Can't be understated how big of an injury that was. A year off the pitch. Two surgeries, because in his own words he was still in constant pain after the first. Even as recently as July he's talked about still having twinges and needing more downtime after matches.
Football wise, I think it's best to go to people who watch him week in, week out - Bournemouth fans - and they are unanimously negative about his performances since returning.
It's understandable, of course, after a year out....but are we really the club that wants to be taking a fairly expensive punt on both of these factours? Form and fitness? Maybe even some lingering mental hurdles.
If we totally give up on Sancho (as opposed to getting him next summer) then we really need to do better than Grealish and Brooks. If we can’t get sancho - get him and grealish

Pretty sure this is what will happen if you can't agree cash with Dortmund. If we can’t get sancho - get him and grealish

Oh for sureTake it you mean alongside Jadon rather than instead of him
It has. One player could easily replace all 3 based on how much they've played since Bruno signed. Why pay 3 salaries to players who basically offer nothing between them.i like how people are saying he'll be an upgrade on Mata/Lingard/Pereira as if their collective uselessness has rendered them into a single entity
If he will be cheap and will be a good upgrade on the likes of Mata/Lingard and provides technical quality, then I'd go for him. If he's just a limited workhorse then noWould not mind getting him and actually now is the perfect time to take a punt on him if we are going too. He has been injured for a year, but is healthy now, and playing for a side that just got relegated. In other words; he can't be that expensive.
Better be technically more gifted than himHope he is not another james the winger...

What's interesting about him is that he can also be deployed as a #10. He's quicker than Grealish and a better player to trigger the press. And he'll be significantly cheaper too.
He's technically better than Dan James no question IMO.
