I would have loved him back but given the ridiculous nature of our over reliance on players that aren't in their prime any more it's the last bloody thing we need.
always fitter than Giggs? Really? He's 37, younger than Scholes & Giggs and he has always been fitter than both. He delivery/passing is still second to none. Those who think he wouldn't be a good signing the likes of QPR are absolutely clueless.

Beckham is leaving LA Galaxy for "one last challenge", just for the lolz I am gonna suggest he might return to Old Trafford for the second half of the season...
He's still a player, great passer of the ball that never ever relied on his pace anyway. He just doesn't give 90 mins like he used to. Could still certainly do a job for someone. I have no idea why many on here think Scholes and Giggs can do it at United and that Becks who's the youngest of the 3 and was always the fittest of the 3 isn't good enough for the league anymore.
Am 100% serious.
You dont think he'd be a good signing for the likes of QPR?
I hope he comes purely so Fergie can, when we're chasing a win, stand on the touch line with Giggs, Scholes and Becks waiting to come on. Worth it for that alone.
Well, I have free tickets to all Galaxy home games. I watch Beckham play often.
He shouldn't be playing. He's nearly immobile. All he can do is kick now. If he was in the prem he'd be embarrassed by the pace.
He shouldn't be playing football anymore.

McClaren recalls one incident that illustrates Beckham's phenomenal fitness, even when he's out of training. 'I remember a year ago, giving him a rest of a week, 10 days, when we were rotating the squad just after Christmas. The day he returned to training was the fitness test day. He had had 10 days of doing practically nothing, as he admitted, which was what we wanted. He came and did the "bleep" test and we had to tell him to stop because he was the only one left standing and he would have kept running and running.'
The 'bleep' test is a commonly used fitness gauge in which players run over a set distance, wait for the bleep, then run back. The distance between bleeps becomes gradually shorter. Once a player can't reach the other side before the bleep goes, he is out. As McClaren says, hardly anyone beats Beckham.

Maybe he can be a kicker in rugby?

Less injured in the early years
Dont rule out Scholes, Giggs and Beckham as our starting 3 man midfield. You know Sir Alex wants to do it
Bring him back as a player, coach with a view towards managing one of the youth sides. I'm sure the likes of Clevs and Powell would relish the chance to train and play along side him in the short term.
He's too 'Hollywood' to coach. Reckon he'll end up at PSG or something for a year or so and then do the celebrity lifestyle full-time afterwards.
He seems to be far less celebrity now than in 2002. If Fergie is audacious enough to keep playing Giggs and Scholes in the present, who's to say he wouldn't allow Becks back for a few months, even if only to train with the squad.
If he hadn't have left back in 2003 (by actually wearing the trousers in his house) He could possibly still be here growing old with Giggsy and Scholesy.
I bet he goes to China.

If Fergie wanted him back at United, surely we would have looked to take him on loan rather than AC Milan in years gone by.
Also, I suspect the episode with the G&G scarf probably ended any chance of him returning.
