From the sublime to the ridiculous
He knew what he was doing.
Asp needs to stop fecking around and concentrate.
Littler would stomp over anyone to win this. You're a cynical man. They're mates.
Aspinalls action, does he suffer from Dartitis? He seems to stutter a lot
Ah okHe has done this year apparently
lack of focus cost Asp a set there
Yeah and he's also had elbow treatment for months on his tendons.Aspinalls action, does he suffer from Dartitis? He seems to stutter a lot
Fair play to the guy. I'd like him to win it but just feel he's a bit too nice. You need a bit of shithouseryYeah and he's also had elbow treatment for months on his tendons.
He's done really well to come back at this level so quickly.
Shame he didn't take his chance last set.
Bit like my own dartboardSome 180s getting smashed in here
Seriously so silly. Also hate when commentators ignore what's happening in the leg in front of them and start talking like the match is overWTF is that twat on about saying Joyce barley laid a glove on Littler he pushed him to the last set.
Littler never in trouble, not his best darts , ropey in parts, have to feel for Asp , he is clearly struggling but fair play to him coming back from his injuries and prolems.
Yeah, it never felt like Asp had a hope or believed he’d have a chance tonight.Littler never in trouble, not his best darts , ropey in parts, have to feel for Asp , he is clearly struggling but fair play to him coming back from his injuries and prolems.
I'm no expert but I thought he was clearly suffering so badly with what looked like dartitis that he kept trying to distract from it by engaging with the crowd, double checking the score and being laughy and jokey. It was a very uncomfortable watch I thought.Fair play to the guy. I'd like him to win it but just feel he's a bit too nice. You need a bit of shithousery
Ya he was diagnosed with it, sky did a documentary on him and he opened up about it. He came across as a genuine guy on the show and it was evident tonight giving Littler fist bumps throughout the game.Aspinalls action, does he suffer from Dartitis? He seems to stutter a lot
He's a really nice guy. Was too nice tonight.Ya he was diagnosed with it, sky did a documentary on him and he opened up about it. He came across as a genuine guy on the show and it was evident tonight giving Littler fist bumps throughout the game.
One also has a better chance of being World Champion than the other .
One is a prime athlete competing at the top echelon of his sport and the other is a washed up has been.

A bit of both I think. In my experience I played darts for years then I suffered from a stiff shoulder (work related) I noticed my throwing action was different(or at least i thought it was) and I started to try and throw how I thought I used to which at this point it's now psychological. The overthinking caused a bit of a pause before I started to throw, the odd dart going nowhere near where I wanted it too, I'd try and correct it and it becomes worse.Cue anxiety when playing in league games just hoping I could throw ok.My arm would be sore the day after cos i was throwing the darts much harder just to release them.In the end I stopped playing.I have to say I still don’t fully grasp the concept of dartisis. Is it purely psychological or also physical?
Total mental issue, it's basically a mind block, you go to release but feel that you aren't going to hit where you are aiming for and so you can't release the dart. That's why Aspinall re-grips often. His is more a grip issue, he manages to release the dart once the grip feels right. Some players literally seize up in their release and can't let go of the dart.I have to say I still don’t fully grasp the concept of dartisis. Is it purely psychological or also physical?
