Littler dominant over Smith. Humphries should be too much for MVG if he is at it tonight.

peak MVG is long gone isn't it

Yeah he makes it look hard rather than easy these days. His absolute peak was 7/8 years ago now, but his last consistent run of form was probably 2022.

You can see his throw now looks laboured, like he's having to put more effort into it and it's causing some wild misses.

why don’t they just do the 9 dart each time they throw first? impossible for the other guy to win like that.

Cracking win for Littler.

I love how no matter who seems to win / lose each final, everyone seems buzzing for the winner.

My God what a performance on throw, Humphries barely had a go at a double.

What more can you say? We’re all in for a treat watching him in the majors to come this year.

i can't think of another person who has came into professional sports that has never been anything other than utterly world class, from the very start. Incredible

His attitude and talent remind me of Rooney, but Littler may eclipse the GOAT.

What a final. Humpheries threw great too. Don’t think littler will eclipse Taylor with regards trophies etc because there are far too many good players nowadays but his numbers on the board will be destroyed.

Can see him breaking every record except probably Taylor’s trophy haul. He’ll beat MVG’s highest average, he’ll hit two 9s in a row, etc

What a night and again class in defeat from Humphries.
Standard this year absolute stellar.
Littler just didn't blink throughout steely eyed determination.
Bring on the World Cup in June and the Matchplay in July.

Last autumn one of the Dutch players on the Dutch TV said to look out for Luke Littler and that he was already good enough to win the WC at 16. So obviously I kept an eye on him and watched a bit of him in the Youth WC last November I think, and it was obvious he was far too good for that competition. Nothing seems to make him nervous and he seemed to get better as the more he was put under pressure, we’re talking Tiger Woods/Micheal Jordan type mentality. Every so often you experience a sports player or the like and you know immediately that person is something special, similar to watching Bolt or Woods for the first time. I had those vibes with Littler.

Scary to think that by Littler's own admission last night was the most he practiced & he should practice more at home.

Incredible. But I don't think he'll beat Taylor's records, too much competition.

Ross Smith hitting a nine with double 18 finish on the euro tour last night.

Josh Rock has been playing some good stuff this year.
