He is beyond useless on right and we knew that. It's on Ole to play him on the right
Why is that the worst he can be btw? I see a lot of people saying this but doesn't mean anything doesn't it? He can well end up being nowhere near fit to be a Manchester United player, and presently that's a very real possibility too.Agree, needs time and to be given a chance. I still think he has potential, shown by his start at United and the faith shown in him by Ryan Giggs. At worst he hopefully become a decent impact player or solid squad member.

Poor mans Theo Walcott
Walcott can dribble, and beat weak defenders. James is just knock and run merchant. Against organized defense, James is clueless in what to do, where as Walcott at least could be tidy.Walcott actually tried to use his pace against defenders. James may as well be as slow as Maguire because he doesn't actually run at anyone.
If Ole has not realised, James should be a non starter as RW in the PL.....how many more poor performances from him to proof that?
He can't defend when opposition is running at him. Pressing, running at opposition is very different. Not very good at tackling. Keeping up with opposition speed in straight line, doesn't mean he is good at man marking. Someone like Valencia, could man mark, and nullify opposition attacking wide player for good. Even then Valencia transition to RB was not straight forward and even full of growth pain in other words.I'm losing hope. Maybe a RB he can become?
I am almost at a belief, as fecking dumb as it sounds, he was trying to prove a point.
Leeds want him, so let him off if we get half decent money for him..
James getting slated as usual but hardly his fault that Ole keeps playing him on the right when he is clearly a left winger, certainly would offer a lot more than Rashford on the left right now. For all of the criticism today, Greenwood played for the second half was levels below what James offered simply as a fact that he is not a wide player at all and its like playing with 10 men when Mason is out there unless he is shooting.
