I just dont trust this man to be any good, perhaps I am too scarred to believe any hype anymore.
You couldn't be more wrong if you tried, I have a cousin who had drug addiction problems and he hid it for nearly five years until the COVID lockdown tied him down and he couldn't fund his addiction. If a person and his inner circle want things to stay hidden they can and no prospective business partner would think to do extensive background checks like that because there is a certain level of professionalism you would expect from a person at a certain level.I already said, I am sorry I questions almight Ashworth, not sure what else you want me to do?
It wasn't a ridiculous take. When somebody is an addict (gambling, drinking, drugs - mostly the same) it's almost impossible for them to hide it from their inner circle. And once couple people know, their girlfriends know, cousins know etc. etc. - word spreads. You lot seem to think Tonali is some kind of mastermind of conspiracy, I doubt he is. So people knew and once people knew, once there were rumors, it's not just betting companies spilling to police that you can find these kinds of things out from.
Anyway, like I said - I am sorry I questioned the almighty Ashworth. He is the most amazing thing since sliced bread. I am going to just sit and wait when he transforms us into second coming of Man City.
Just absolute bollocks. You can very much hide addiction. As someone whose parent died from an addiction and was an addict themselves you very much can hide addiction from people. In terms of gambling surely you’ve heard of stories of spouses suddenly finding out their partner has gambled away their savings without knowing. There are a lot of high functioning addicts. You only really see it when they’re on the way to hitting rock bottom.I already said, I am sorry I questions almight Ashworth, not sure what else you want me to do?

It's extremely common practice, so much so that I don't know why you're even questioning it.This kinda makes sense but also it doesn’t. The man is on gardening leave so has as good as left NUFC already, they are effectively without a DOF so why would they need a replacement before the ‘impasse’ is broken? Or is this more BJ waffle?
They’ve probably been holding and trying to flex their (in their head) muscle and assuming United would fold to their £20m ask.No way have they only just started interviewing candidates for a vacancy they've known about for months
Even after we appoint someone what makes you think we will let him go without the required compensation? The self entitlement of you lot is staggering. They’ve probably been holding and trying to flex their (in their head) muscle and assuming United would fold to their £20m ask.
Now they’ve realised thats cutting their nose off to spite their face as THEY need to plan for Summer as much as we do, so they’re cracking on.
Might be common practice, but I agree with questioning the logic behind it.It's extremely common practice, so much so that I don't know why you're even questioning it.
I'm sure they would have sounded out candidates at the same time. There's no chance they were just sitting doing nothing when he was put on gardening leave. They’ve probably been holding and trying to flex their (in their head) muscle and assuming United would fold to their £20m ask.

So many posters twist words to their viewpointEven after we appoint someone what makes you think we will let him go without the required compensation? The self entitlement of you lot is staggering.
And your lot are bonkers if you think anyone is paying 20m for a DoFEven after we appoint someone what makes you think we will let him go without the required compensation? The self entitlement of you lot is staggering.

Because eventually you will need to be reasonable and be seen to be reasonable. These things have a way of coming back to haunt you when you least expect them to because everyone else watching and someone will remember and base their choice against joining you on the reputation you would have created for yourself over nothing more than hurt pride.Even after we appoint someone what makes you think we will let him go without the required compensation? Yes it’s a dangerous precedent to setBecause whatever you ask for the club your trying to take someone from will ask for the same, oh you want 20 mill for your DoF well to get ours it will also be 20 mill thank you
Newcastle are not expecting 20 million, they just want more than you've offered.
You'll eventually pay more than you first offered (but not 20 million) and both sets of fans will pretend that their side "won" this negotiation.
It's difficult to know what actually happened but ETH took the team to their limits last season and burn out could be a factor. With supposed cause of injuries being intense training, will Ashworth mediate in this disconnect between the medical staff and the coaching staff?
Ashworth describes himself as the middle of the wheel connecting the spokes. Will he be able to get the 2 parties into a room to sort out the issue?
The actual cause of our injury crisis is not actually known. I imagine people with no experience of dealing with football injuries think a top doctor can just magic them away.
The real winner of course being Todd Boehly.Newcastle are not expecting 20 million, they just want more than you've offered.
