Perhaps one could argue they should have won 1 CL more, however 3 CL's in 7 years (2009, 2011 and 2015 although Xavi wasn't in his peak) is pretty fecking good anyway.

I'm not sure. The 4 years they didn't win it at their peak were because of what, a Mourinho defensive masterclass in 2010, Chelsea parking the titanic in 2012, Bayern being far too good in 2013, and a Simeone defensive masterclass in 2014. I'm not sure which of those they should have won, and as you say 3 in 7 years is incredible no matter how you slice it.

Will be interesting to see how Zizou uses him this year. He may struggle to play 60/70 games whilst remaining in peak condition, and I know he takes incredibly good care of himself. In the next 3 or so years I see him being an impact player, possibly not featuring massively in the early parts of the season and being used a lot more from January onwards, when the winners of La Liga/the CL are decided. I also think hes now seen as a number 9, with Isco being their play maker and CR tere to finish off chances and stat pad.
