Says more about Manchester than his lady friend, I'm an average looking man with a beard and when I goto Manchester I'm the 3rd fittest bird there.

If that's the case I bet you go every weekend.

Its funny because its true...
Gets my vote for post of the year....

I almost can't wait until be retires so we don't have to read this shite anymore. We've moved on from 'he might want to sign for us' to 'he might want to sign for us after his next contract - which he used us to get - finishes.

Yeah, I don't get the resemblance. Giggs has a much better eye for a pass than Ronnie, can never see the latter in a dictating role.

Not sure I agree - did you see the video Hectic posted in the Bale thread:

That article is weird. Sounds like it's come directly from the club, and is more definitive than speculative in some of the claims (a bit wishy-washy in others mind). The timing of it is quite interesting too, right as Bale has arrived in Spain. There has to be some motive behind it imo...

According to Daniel Taylor, the news that he has from United is that United feel he's close to a new deal with Madrid but wants to finish his career at United.

If he signs another deal for 3-4 years and thinks he can still come back here for 3-4 years on huge money, he might be a bit disappointed!

What a cheeky fecker Ronaldo is, if that Daniel Taylor report is true. So he wants to come back here (presumably on massive wages) when he's 32? Get to feck! We should be aspiring to sign players in their peak.

If that's right, not good news. We don't want to become ex-United players last big pay day. Either come now or not at all.

We kept Bestie when he was past his best...

He left the club at 27.

Ronaldo coming back to end his career at United = getting a player on monumental wages who's 32/33. I'd hope we'd have more sense than that.

As you say Best was only 27 when he started losing interest, which was probably the clubs fault as much as his. Best should have been reaching his peak years, but the club had reached it goal and forgot to move on.

We're not a retirement home. He left us just as he was entering his peak, and should we be grateful that he "may" chose to return to us just as he is past it? If he signs a new contract at Madrid, then that's it as far as him returning to United is concerned.

That article covers every base. He might come next year he might come in 3-4years. He might sign a new contract there etc..
I think the Club might be trying to offer an Olive branch, should he feel unsettled by Bale.
I reckon the bigger likelihood is that Bale might move on in a couple of years. Being a £97m transfer in a team that has Ronaldo as top dog is going to be hard to live up to imo unless they shape the team around him like Tottenham did.

If he's still good enough to play for Manchester United and they can afford him then they should sign him. Some people are mental.

I wont tolerate no for an answer. If he does not sign by the end of this transfer window than I swear unto God I shall leave here forever. That is how confident I am, sack Neville, sell Rooney, buy Ronaldo.

I think most people would have him back, but it has to be soon, not when he's in his 30's and is using us for his retirement fund.

Ronaldo is a beast he will be at top player in his mid 30s and still a useful play in his late 30s. IMO.

I should clarify that if this does not happen I am not going anywhere but thats not an issue either way, because its happening. #believe

That KingJonno bloke that put a lot of money on him coming has taken his twitter down, so no more news from him regarding the transfer

That was one annoying bloke.. just followed him to get some transfer gossip. Anyone knows what line of work he is in? He sure made himself sound like a hot shot.

I always maintained he was an absolute bellend, but he did make a lot of right calls in the past. He seemed so confident of Ronaldo coming back that it may have made a lot of people believe he would too. Still a week left!

Would have won us the match tonight! Maybe they'll announce his signing in the post match interview...

*rocks back and forward slowly*

Cheeky grin and cryptic answer from Moyes when questioned about Bale because...it's on ?!!!!!
