It's important to not overlook the pass which was great in its own right, but damn, what a finish.

What a finish, but honestly, feck Ronaldo as a United legend. Many will disagree but I accept him as a phenomenal player for us for a time, never a legend.

No need to get upset, few hugs and kisses from Cristiano, and this goal will be forgotten in a second!

If he’d retired after playing for us he’d be classed as s legend for what he did in his time at United! Prob our best player in last 40 years!

Don’t let your hate for him now diminish just how good he was for us to!!

That celebration though - FFS!

He's a bellend and it's vomit inducing that there are United "fans" on here who idolise the man.

Dead to me the moment he left. Can even show us his bum if he wants.

Celebrating like that was disrespectful though.. I think it's time to stop bumping this thread everytime the guy takes a poo as he is loyal to Sir Alex Ferguson, not Manchester United or it's fans.

I think nearly everybody respects/recognises that he's an incredible player, but I don't know how anybody actually likes the man.

Celebration just sums him up .. just utterly self obsessed and cringeworthy.

Agree with this. Great player but absolute Prick of a man.

Knew what it would be like as soon as we drew Juve.. all about Ronaldo sickening.

And there is some on here who seem to follow/support Ronaldo more than the club Manchester United. That's disgusting.

massive, massive twat for that celebration. United fan and still idolising him? Get out and stay out.

Great player, one of the best ever but not a United legend for me. I said it before but after tonight i think more people agree with me.

That celebration :wenger:

That last minute winner is even more satisfying now.

I agree. He became a phenomenal player at OT but I genuinely despise the prick.

The celebration is great just because of how many people get pissed off at it

Fantastic again, brilliant how he's adapted to Juve and how he changes his game depending on if Mandzukic is on the pitch or not. It's his best start to a season since 2013/14.

World class goal, one of the best he's scored. World class cnut for that celebration though.

I don't expect him not to celebrate, obviously. Just be less of a cnut about it. feck him.

Lol when he signaled the referee for his watch when the ball was in play.

Great goal, though.

I always hate when players don’t celebrate goals against their old club. It’s not a fecking wake, just celebrate your damn goal.

Utd actually controlled him fairly well over the 2 games, limited him to very few opportunities. Just that ridiculously efficient he can still make the difference.

In the past, I thought it was great not to celebrate.

Now, I think like you :)

Why stop at 40 though? Why not all time?
FFS. He was a great player but we developed him into one and he gave us only 2 world class seasons.

Plenty of other world class players have given more to Utd than Ronaldo. Stop worshipping the player who called himself a slave at Utd!!

TBH I preferred the celebration tonight to the obviously false “non-celebration” he pulled at the Bernabeu that first time - he showed how much respect he had for United those last couple of seasons he was pushing to leave so it’s pointless to pretend otherwise now; at least this felt genuine.

Fantastic goal tonight of course

People still get bummed by players celebrating against their former clubs?

Incredible goal tonight from him, makes it even sweeter we dug out 3pts :D

Amazing goal tbf.

Not that bothered about his celebration. Think he may have pointed to the away fans towards the end of his celebration and gave them a gesture either way.

It's been 9 years since he left. Just w/e.

Grow up people. He scored a goal for his team and celebrated. When he was a player he gave us his all and won us titles. Now that he's gone who gives a feck how he celebrates against us?

Our concern tonight was to win the game and we did just that. Hating on Ronaldo because he celebrated is a joke.

Kind of glad he celebrated over that 'Look at me I'm definitely not celebrating' act. But still, even better that he did it such a bell-end way and ended up on the losing team.

To add to that, I always thought United was different in that we respected all our ex players who left. Be it Beckham or Ronaldo. We're bigger than the likes of Arsenal, Madrid or Barca who turn on their players just as they leave.

9 years of using us to get a bumper contact.

No problem about him celebrating, he's been gone a long time and it was a great goal. However Mata should have ran over to him and showed him his abs and then the whole team should have after the 2nd goal.

Reminds me of when some guy done a twatty celebration against my team and when we turned it around to 2-1 we all went up to him and imitated him. Acting like that is some of the best bits of playing sport!

You should know, that the the celebration surely had a deeper meaning, because normaly he has his standard celebration.

Could have three assists too today, but his teammates are Cuadrado and Khedira :D

He’s a strange bloke, Ronaldo.

Or perhaps it’s me. Perhaps celebrating like a wrestler is the norm.
