Being pragmatic I'd rather city sign ronaldo and get a decent season or two out of him rather than getting four or five seasons out of kane or a decade out of haaland

I personally see Ronaldo scoring a similar amount as Haaland in the next two seasons in the PL, as Haaland does in his first two.

I remember Klopp saying they where done and Liverpools mouthpieces all saying the same.
The thought was they do a bit more the following January or summer. Roma wanted too much for Alison so they would leav it. But then no they said feck it and gave Klopp Allison. He said he needed him and they got him. That was one hell of a summer and it completed what was his core team.

Now I'm under no disillusions about Ole as a manager. He is no Klopp.
But if he is here why not complete the rebuild this summer? Our first 11 only needs a DM to truly be arguably as good as the other 3 first 11.
Why go into the season with a blatant flaw. Do we want the readymade excuse? Or is it just cause the Glazers are happy as long as we are 4th and the fans aren't protesting.
Year after year they lie and say we are trying to win the top trophies and compete. I don't believe that for a second. If we where you'd go the extra mile now instead of waiting to next summer when we will potentially need a DM, Pogba replacement and the Striker.

I mean he'll obviously hit his 20 goals through six yard box lurking and tapping in crosses as that's what City do but I really don't think this is a good fit at all.
You saw enough end of last season at Juventus and indeed for Portugal in the euros, tightly mark him and he's not quite the same force as old so anyone expecting him to be doing what he was in the prem 16 years back of dribbling past 2/3 players from out wide and then blasting it in from 20 yards is going to be disappointed. Not that there will be much of that on this forum!

Despite beeing one of our best players ever, I can’t say I am that bothered and the reason is simple. Since he complained about beeing a slave, there has been no doubt that that his love for United has been a fan illiution, and his real lojalty was towards Fergie more than the club, despite the fact that slave quote was a real dick move. It’s also important to remember that Jadon Sancho did the same ting against them, despite just playing youth games and if you asked me I would pick Sancho over a 36 year old Ronaldo any day. Because of this I actually hope he won’t be booed, and that the crowd ignorere him instead because booing will only make it even sweeter for City fans. In my opinion it’s better to show that we have moved on and that the club is bigger than him. Won’t happen though. Guess he will get a hard time by our fans
