Is Ronaldo justified to say that he “feels betrayed” by Manchester United?

Rooney will piss himself laughing at this to be fair.

the bit that fuking grinds my gears the most is the Picasso bullshit and him doing it for the fans. If a champions league team even farted in his direction last summer the “fans” would not have been given a second thought. He would have been gone.
Yeah the whole "I love the fans, I want what's best for them" was hilarious nonsense considering the fact he's undermined the new (very popular) manager and decided to try and humiliate the club's greatest ever goalscorer

And that's not even going into him being moments away from joining City or deciding to hand in a transfer request the moment he realises the club wasn't playing champions league football. Real respect and love for the fans there Ronnie.

If Ronaldo was starting every game and scoring at a decent rate, there's simply no way he'd do this interview.

He's done this interview, because for the first time in his career, he's no longer looking like a top player after getting to the top and most of the footballing world is realizing it.

Piers Morgan and Ronaldo are a match made in heaven. Both are narcissists.

Thanks for goals and memories Ronny but no player is ever bigger than the club. Now quietly feck off.

The fact that he goes all in on ETH but doesn't name the Glazers for the state of the club (unless he does in the full interview) is pretty much showing where is intentions are... Its to save face for him and get himself out of the club in Jan.

What a day, last minute victory. And now Ronaldo is practically gone.

Words can't describe just how much of a wanker this guy really is.

I hope he's breached his contract in some way by doing this. He doesn't deserve another penny

You don't. He'll have a buyer lined up.
Interested to see what idiot will actually want to bring him in
He's going to ruin whatever club he goes to, is nowhere near good enough for any big league anymore, so will need a huge pay decrease. He's trying to force to be paid off but I hope United don't do it. I hope they force him to forgo his remaining wages or just ban him from Carrington but keep him as a United player. Half a year at 38 without actual training, that'll fecking ruin him

"I have a gun and I'm very afraid to shoot myself. I do have a gun though, show respect!"

A lot of people go through personal struggles, many worse than Ronaldo has, even. It's not a carte blanche to act like a petulant child.

Also his personality is such that he probably would have behaved like this.

I feel like a slave: No, it's not Spartacus but Ronaldo (who is on £120,000 a week)

By IAN LADYMAN FOR THE DAILY MAIL UPDATED: 22:52, 10 July 2008

Cristiano Ronaldo has accused Manchester United of treating him like a slave.

In a televised outburst in Portugal that will surely threaten his relationship with United supporters and his manager Sir Alex Ferguson, the 23- year-old reiterated his desire to quit Old Trafford for Real Madrid.
He did this 14 years ago the fact that people wanted him back was the hard part to take.

In his first stint, the best player I have ever seen at United. And now, in terms of output versus wages, probably the worst. One final ridiculous decision of the Woodward regime.

Never mind wages; United have lost half the Premier League games he has started this season, averaging just a point a game, as opposed to 2.2 per game without him.

Curious to see what his fanboys Rio, Evra and Keane have to say about this.

What a self-absorbed narcissist. He should not play a single game for us again.

That guardian story posted by @cyberman gets worse and worse the more times you read it on Ronaldo's behavior.

It's a disgrace he acted that way.

He was actually throwing a tantrum at a Munich memorial with SURVIVORS FROM THE CRASH at the event... This guy is actually sicker than I thought.

Considering he has never done this before or given a interview like this and slated a manager in public fashion it tells me that a guy who has been a model professional his whole career may have a leg to stand on here.

Their has been a build up/culmination of things leading up all season that make it clear their is things going on behind the scenes.

He's never been in this position before. Not the best, not wanted, consistently dropped. So its no surprise we're getting new behaviour.

But then he wasn't brilliant the last time he wanted to leave.

Who knows what's been said and done exactly.

But this is clearly a guy whose ego is out of control. So I'd very much take everything he says with a pinch of salt. I'd imagine Ronaldo is very easily offended. In fact we know he is.

Pogba has never done anything close to this. The lens by which Pogba is viewed is so unfair
Well, for me, it’s like this: Pogba was crap on the pitch and a shit stirrer off it. Ronaldo this season has been crap on the pitch and is a complete sideshow off it.
