Hints of racism here but okay.
Like saying coming England to see the Buckingham Palace with a side dish of partying with underage girls with Prince Andrew.
I mean there's a reason he's worth 500m, if he had the same thought process on economics as you he would never have got there.
Most people's earnings go up as they get older and progress in their careers. Correct me if I'm wrong most would take a pay rise they progress. Is this projection? Because a shit load of people don't do that at all. This is valid for all income classes. I don't think it's even the majority who do that.
The internet never forgets

Did they all do interviews throwing their club under the bus and demanding top level football or bust?Pele "sold out" to New York Cosmos at 35 y.o.
Beckenbauer to New York Cosmos at 32.
Cruyff to LA Aztec at 31.
Just saying.
I never said everyone? I said most.Of course he would. He got 500m not because he's prioritised maximising his earnings, but by being a very great football player. And in any case, your argument wasn't that this is how Ronaldo is. Your argument was that this is how EVERYONE is, and simply how the world works. Which anyone can disprove with readily available examples in a few seconds of serious thought, unless of course you simply prefer to believe that this is how it is.

It won’t be though. Players that have done much worse than Ronaldo has done are looked back on with fondness and he’ll be the same in time. There’s a lot of understandable bitterness towards him right now but it’ll mellow.Up until the final year at Juventus will be, everything after that will be a bitter period imo
How do you know how much money he has and need?
I edited my previous post to give you an example of my own profession (I'm a doctor). Most people's earnings go up as they get older and progress in their careers. Correct me if I'm wrong most would take a pay rise they progress.

Not a lot of clubs run like the Glazers tbfDid they all do interviews throwing their club under the bus and demanding top level football or bust?
Probably not. But they gave up top flight football much earlier, chasing money.
So what does he do now? Just retire? There's no other CL team that wants him. Why would he say no to such an obscene contract for a few years?
That's not the point. It's the interview and his suppose reasons to break away from UnitedPele "sold out" to New York Cosmos at 35 y.o.

Personally I think he just couldn't accept his decline and why he acted so irrationally in that interview. I think he was expecting to get a CL offer after getting out of United but that obviously didn't come through. And that then leads us to where we are.Well, he could take much less money to play for a lesser club in a top league. If he thinks he's still got the quality. If he doesn't think so, then his claims about being treated with disrespect at United must obviously be absurd, even to him. He can't have it both ways. He can't claim that he still deserves to be treated like a megastar at the top level, and at the same time take 200m to play in a fourth rate league. The only way he can combine those is if he thinks the money somehow validates his self-image as a great player - which is deeply ridiculous.
He still made a lot of valid points in the interview. That's not the point. It's the interview and his suppose reasons to break away from United

Fair enough and understand your situation, I am in similar position where I could earn quite a bit more in a different country but I have young kids and settled where I am and wouldn't break that up for it. I would consider it in the future when I'm closer to retirement, so I can retire early, there's no way I want to be working into my late 50s.I edited my previous post to give you an example of my own profession (I'm a doctor).
What you are saying now is not what you said before. "Taking a payrise" isn't remotely the same thing as "maximizing your earnings".
Nuance is important. Anyone would like to be richer. I would love to earn more money. But I love living in my island even more. I would take a payrise for minor nuissance, wouldn't change my life for it.
Only a subset of people put money above all things.
It's the perfect chance for him to spend the next 6 months getting up to speed after missing preseason training and make a move back to the big time.
Really clever when you think about it too...
Would you go for 1 million? 10 million? Everyone has a number. They just haven't found yours yet.Is this projection? Because a shit load of people don't do that at all. This is valid for all income classes. I don't think it's even the majority who do that.
In my job we're also offered anywhere from 3.5 to 10 times our pay if we go to Arabia. Still very frw do and the job offerings keep coming.
He did.He still made a lot of valid points in the interview.
Imagine announcing multi hundred million signing with just a picture
It was a diva rant. Some of them were ugly truths, like exposing the Glazers and the way they've runthe club since 08/09He did.
But in my opinion he just said what he accorded to respond with Piers Morgan and what his PR team told him to say.
I just don't believe he feels anything of what he said in the interview.
I'm confused.
Does Al Nassr has better facilities, chefs and stadium?
Will they play CL Knockout? What was the point of that interview then?
