F**k me, so many haters on a club Legend and the G.O.A.T
Some of you need to grow up, yes he shouldn’t have done the interview but vast majority of what he said was true and we all know that.

Anyway best wishes to him on his next venture and let’s see ETH does for rest of the season, can’t play the Ronaldo card no more!
Do we?

There were a lot of blatant lies, more than any truth.

They obviously didn’t want him leaving that was abundantly clear this season.
Then you are saying that CR37 was lying in his interview. He quite clearly said that ETH and the board wanted him out that he had offers that HE turned down because he was happy here.
I think he was lying but you are admitting that you feel the same.

As they say never go back to your ex as they are ex for a reason.
Now no deadweight or prima donna in the squad after all the exodus starting from last summer. Hopefully the club buys players or extend contracts only when the player is of right age, attitude, calibre and work for ETH

he earned about 15 grand per hour. we've already saved about 60 grand today.

Yeah. They weren’t actively looking buyers up until a week before deadline day or something.
Ronaldo was being whored all round europe during the window but no one wanted him.

That's the reason he didn't move, not United stopping him.

Finally, Ronaldo is gone.

Now is the time for the next club to play him in his favourite position which is a wandering forward (left) position where he can be more aggressive and put his dribbling and passing skills to good use again.
Wondering left forward indeed. He plays and you wonder what’s left in this forward

So banned for Burnley and Forest? I think we'll do fine with Rashy or Antony up top in those games

Am I missing something? It doesn't concern United, he isn't employed by the club.

What is FA Rule E3?
“a Participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute or use any one, or a combination of, violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour”

Wtf FA? they could've suspended him sooner. That would've helped United massively.
Now it will chase potential English buyers away. It's fecking stupid

We have terminated his contract so we won't be getting a fee. Would rather he was not in the PL for the distraction.

If you sift through the articles it’s pretty clear Ronaldo’s camp is planting the Chelsea rumor…and Chelsea actually seem to be delicately distancing themselves a bit from him.

I actually think he might have to take the Saudi offer and publicly save face by saying it was for the money…crazy decline in value.

As I said last week, Ronaldo had clearly played his last game for us and I'm much more interested who we get in to "replace" him.

For those loving all this, I think everyone has lost. and remember, he's probably rich enough to be part of any consortium buying the club (that's a joke in case anyone takes it too seriously)...

Basically Ronaldo's buying United so beware?

Honestly, it's not even close.

If Ibra doesn't tear his ACL, we don't buy Lukaku and maybe we win another trophy the following season.

He was very good for us.

I was thinking the other day how that season with Zlatan (Jose's first) was hands down the best football we played since Fergie. Zlatan holding it up and having a motivated Pogba run past him with Rashford/Martial on the wings was something special.

If not for the injury, I'd have been happy to have Zlatan stay another 2-3 seasons after the original contract. Class. Loved Cavani in his first season...

ETH is the only person I feel bad for in all this. His tenure had to experience the fallout of a transfer that should never have happened to start with.

Hmmm...

He handled it all appropriately, nevertheless. He was fair and patient. I think he came out of this very well indeed. Hopefully, this will also contribute to a squad that trusts him even more than it has done so far.

So, the whole interview and whatever came about because Man Utd were not in the CL? Is that the basic premise?

Kudos to the Club which, imho, handled this issue in professional way. No fuss nor drama, all end quickly.

Does it include off the pitch also?

We will never know for a fact but around January when it looked like we weren't going to qualify for the CL, a bunch of articles came out about Ronaldo being unhappy about the potentially wage cut due to the absence of CL and the absence of CL itself and it just continued until the end of the summer transfer window.

From memory yes. I seem to remember a player being sanctioned for a tweet.

True. Cavani got one, and that City's midfielder also. So I wonder of why Henderson didn't get any fine for that interview.

I don’t think Henderson’s was that bad - he came across poorly and a bit cocky/deluded but wasn’t his point that he basically was mislead over getting game time?

Why are people going on as though the FA have fined him for the interview?

It's about slapping the phone out of the kid's hand in the Everton game.
