We look a completely different team so far

He becomes the focal point of every attack even if its not always optimal. He missed a ton of chances, I think he had the worst xG to actual goals at some point in the season. The end result is he scores a lot of goals but the team as a whole scores less. It worked when he was actually in his prime , because it was a shitton of goals but it's no longer the case.

This is why he has to go. We look far better as a team without Ronaldo.

Sorry but goals are not enough in the Premier League for a striker anymore. If the strikers are not pressing and covering the ground, you're going to get exposed in midfield and defence. We saw that last season and it'll be worse next season with Ronaldo a year older.

One of the things that boggles my mind is how can a finished player just generate so much discussion in here? I don't see anyone caring about about finished players, yet look at this thread.

The finished guy instead of being swept under the rug, has instead the most replies in any match thread in here every single week, has the most pressure from Cafe users, is the most scrutinized, is always the one with the seemingly magic power to bend an entire group of 30 people into his will (while being none other than a finished football player), the list goes on and on. Based on analysis of measurable team parameters like results and points won, goals scored, goals conceded, chances created, chances conceded, number of transitions taken/allowed, possession, possession areas, zones of the pitch where teams win possession, how fast after losing possession does a team win it again, how often does a team allow the opponent to enter their half etc. with and without Ronaldo/ pre-Ronaldo and with Ronaldo. The numbers are devestating both here and at Juve. More so here than at Juve, but there is no way of getting around it. We became a lot more dysfunctional as soon as Ronaldo was back in red.
+ add to that, that not one outfield player in our squad has had positive development the last 11 months, not one. His goals comes at the price of us getting worse at every aspect of the game while at the same time getting worse results.
